How foolish would we look and feel if we didn’t take him for the vet min only to see him go elsewhere and have a solid season? There isn’t a team in the league who couldn’t use a player like Cousins on a minimum contract.

I totally agree here. Splitting time with McGee solidifies the 5 so long as he stays healthy. Against most teams, he's a match up problem. On the other hand, I am not a fan of paying KCP 15-million over two-years. Really?

I like the signing. As long as rondo isn’t starting the spacing should be fine. Demarcus showed flashes last year and he has something to prove. He used to be the best big man in the game. Now he’s signing for minimum contracts. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get Demarcus all star numbers especially with how Lebron makes his teammates better.

Lebron and klutch got us AD. Dont hate the playa, hate the game. KCP was a necessity in order to scratch my back, i scratch yours

Dont be surprised when in some games, boogie is the Player of the game. He may even have a month or two of just domination for us. Perhaps sometime in May and june.

How can anybody be upset with this?

Nobody else out there at center.

If he gets healthy, he's a monster. That's a big if considering the last two seasons, but it cost us the smallest blind to see the flop.

Don't overlook the value of Cousins keeping Davis fresh, since he never played more than 9 games in the playoffs.

I don't like Cousins because of his attitude but I'll admit that the dude can ball before his injury. This signing is a very low risk very high reward thing. We need a big body and we got a cheap one in Boogie. I would even go out and say that a big part of the success of our season depends on him. If he could bounce back even just half the player that he used to be then we are in a very good position to win it all. Plus, we already saw that Cousins and AD could play together well. Offensively, AD, Cousins and Bron front court is devastating. I hope Cousins turns out to be like Artest. I'm optimistic that Rondo, Bron and AD could keep Cousins on track.

That said, LeBron, AD, Rondo... If those guys can't keep him focused, no one can.

No problems in New Orleans or Golden State.... Y'all will label a BLACK MAN a problem but will overlook WHITE BOYS like Grayson Allen and compound it with he's just misunderstood....

Y'all kill me

My post and this thread had nothing to do with race... If you haven't seen Cousins self-destructive behavior, including New Orleans and Golden State, you're agenda has left you blind. Warned for derailing. - Kilroy

So you send me a private message too when you replied on here...ok

Now like I said he had no issues with the Pelicans or Dubs, y'all follow the media to the point nobody thinks for themselves anymore.

So in short what i said was you assessment of Cousin is one sided and wrong.

It depends on how healthy Cousins is... AD/McGee/Cousins... That said, I get your point... Grab Pau for the Min...

Or see if we can get a young guy on a 2 way.

When we play the Iikes of Vucevic or Valuncunias and the other top heavy big men, you are going to be glad that we have a big like DMC.

Other than being a nice guy and a great basketball player at one point in his career Pau is useless in his current form. Not strong enough to guard big players and not fast enough to guard the smaller players.

Pass on Pau!

I mean, if that's true, and if we can make Cousins/AD/LeBron work offensively, and we can get some Defense from Green and I assume Bradley...
We have one scary-ass roster... Mix in the likes of Kuz, McGee, KCP and possibly Iggy, off the bench, and we're a complete nightmare...

But it's that stupid 'if healthy' part that keeps kicking it in the nuts... Our training and Coaching staffs are going to have to be next level this season... But why the hell have that big UCLA training center if we aren't going to be next-level?

If this dude is 100% healed, it does not matter what inside threat a team has, they will be smashed with Cuzz powering the post, and then AD swatting cover from the backside. Oh sh&#, we will take out denvers joker, millsap, jeremi grant. Zu, Kawhi, Montrez. Or utahs gobert, joe ingles, sefolosha. DCs health will eradicate those interior threats. And hearing from him being a 100 is great news.

In fairness to DMC, he looks fit now. He's kinda chubby during the finals.

Getting a good feeling from Cousins. He's incredible value at that price.

LeBron, AD, Cousins could build a great trio that you'd pair with 3 point shooting guards (at least one defender)

Rondo and Bradley should lead the bench team, they have had great chemistry in the past.
