Can someone point out the flaw in this statement... Leaving Team USA out of it.

ASG, and also Shaq, tho the washed version.

It seems that you may have misinterpreted uninterested as unwilling, which I did not state. Furthermore I shared the video for all to review and judge for themselves. As AD attested he prefers to play the 4 and clearly asked that Centers be acquired.

Hater? Okay...clearly reading comprehension is not your strong suite.

I mean isn't that why we got DMC and McGee?

Kuzma shouldn't start, he's the ideal 6th man.

Cousins will be the Center

Just play AD at 4. Remember, we need to keep him happy as he could sign somewhere else next season if we upset him this year.

"Accomplished"... Shaq was far more accomplished than anyone LeBron's ever played with... Maybe even including team USA... Certainly the ASGs...

Accomplished is the wrong word, but I'd say he is the best player LeBron has played with, and the fit is perfect.

I'm sad that he is not playing in World Cup, would've love to see him destroy the competition.

Yes, I would hope that management would ensure that his interests and expectations are reasonable met. The following might by hyperbolic, but I honestly feel that losing AD would be catastrophic to the Lakers. While assuredly there is the possibility of signing fillers in free agency, but losing AD has a reputational impact as well.

Between Lebron and AD's "rest" and games off.....not to mention the whole "position-less basketball" thing, there should be no issue getting Kuz 30 minutes a game.

AD's not a center, and doesn't want to be. It's pretty simple. Let's move on.

Welcome AD.

He looks like a Natural in Purple and gold

A Laker Big who can put up the numbers.

Size wise he looks like Duncan but more athletic

He looks like the face of the franchise more than Lebron mostly because of his age.

Its look bad Lilliard re-upped cause that is the guy who I think would have fit well with AD and Lebron

Demand a Trade Lilliard. I think the Lakers look good but can still improve in the guard area through trade on in the coming years.

I’m rolling with Cousins, Ad, Bron front court.

Cousins is the difference maker....a return to 75% of his former self and we are the favorites. I’m going to give him a legit chance to do that, until it’s proven that it’s not going to happen.

Start those three with green and cook, and bring in kuz for AD at the 6 minute mark. Then bring in McGee and AD for lebron and Cousins at the three minute mark along with rondo and KCP.

Let AD get what he wants, and let him dominate the ball with the second unit.

Don’t worry
Once he sees a center toying with cousins he will insert himself to guard them
Stop being so disrespectful.

I merged the AD uninterested in playing C thread here, because there was some cross discussion between the two threads that was confusing.

If we're getting the Cousins from the finals, there's no way in hell he should start. That version of Cousins is way too slow on the defensive end. If he's regained some of his lateral quickness by training cap, then i'm all for starting Cousins at the 5. If AD can't be convinced to play the 5, i'd rather roll with McGee at the 5 until Cousins regains some of his quickness.

It’s silly to even bring up the Cousins of the finals, he obviously wasn’t ready to comeback from the quad injury so of course he didn’t perform.

hmm... nothing really silly about bringing up his performance during the finals. No one knows for sure if his performance during the finals is indicative of his performance going forward. He obviously had some serious injuries, some of which may have caused permanent damage. There's a reason he was only able to fetch the vet min on the open market. If teams felt his performance during the finals was an outlier, he would've received a far more lucrative contract; this much is obvious.
