Disappointed to see ad and lebron not playing
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

AC aint fresh this preseason. How has he regressed this much with an opportunity to play or start?

Can the season and real games start already? This is **** embarrasing, I'm snoozing to sleep seeing all these scrubs playing for all the teams.

He hasn't regressed. He's always been a pretty limited player from a skill standpoint. Some here simply place way too much value on his advanced stats...stat is only one piece of this puzzle. I like Caruso and i'm happy he's on our team. I just don't think there's even a scintilla of evidence to support his starting.

Ok he's limited now probably at facilitating esp along side limited players, that is the MAIN REASON I didn't want him doing that from the bench. I prefer Vogel just trying Lebron facilitating and then him and Green spot shooting from the 3's. A few hours before the game John Ireland, Lakers radio play by play, boldly predicted that since Steph Curry was the only superstar for both teams in the game, that he would drop at least 40 pts easy. Well he took 17 attempts scoring 17 pts mostly guarded by Caruso.
What is so advanced about him shooting 40% from the 3pt area, weren't you the one who didn't like it so you went deeper to point out that his "3pt rate" was much lower suggesting that he's a reluctant shooter?
So some here place too much value on advanced stats, it seems you didn't like those those advanced stats so you created your own advanced stat to support your theory that KCP is the best PG defender you convinced several here that he is truly a good defender.
What what else did it reveal?
Caruso's Weighted Player PTS DIFF by position is as follows:

2018
C - 15 possessions. Centers scored a combined net +9 points more than their season average.
PF - 37 possessions. PF combined under performed their their season average by -4 points.
SF - 110 possessions. SF scored a combined net +71 points more than their season average.
SG - 193 possessions. SG scored a combined net +39 points more than their season average.
PG - 272 possessions. PG combined under performed their their season average by -141 points.

2017
C - 13 possessions. Centers scored a combined net +59 points more than their season average.
PF - 43 possessions. PF scored a combined net +65 points more than their season average.
SF - 48 possessions. SF combined under performed their their season average by -30 point.
SG - 129 possessions. SG scored a combined net +53 points more than their season average.
PG - 292 possessions. PG combined under performed their their season average by -81 point.

A few patterns are evident:
- He struggled in both years guarding SGs.
- He was very good in both years guarding PGs.
- More than double the time he spent guarding SF in 2018 and he became a negative. He did well guarding SFs on a limited basis.

For context, he spent a good amount of time defending some quality players at the PG spot. Some of which includes Bledsoe, Lillard, Kyrie, D'angelo, Dinwiddie, etc.

So you prefer that we get convinced that KCP is a great PG defender based on you research but IGNORE your own results about Caruso? :o
