I wonder ... If Portland would trade AD for Dame LOL's ... I'd then try and trade Westbrook for what ever needed to fill in the gaps.
Ad+THT for Dame I'd do it LOL
Dame Time has that killer instinct.

It's painful but I'm also pretty happy for Caruso. He's getting a ton more minutes and more trust than he got on the Lakers.
I don't think he was appreciated enough by Lakers FO

Booker is so smooth man. The handles and craftiness makes me miss watching Kyrie and the OG, Kobe.

Boogie is moving better now. Would have been a better fit than DJ, at least, with his versatility on offense.

He has no idea about roster construction. I've never see the balance there and his lack of communication with head coach is disastrous.

Come on man... Pelinka had the deal for Buddy Hield done... It was LeKlutch and AD that stopped the trade and made Pelinka trade for WestTrash and his 44 million dollar handicapping salary. We truly won't know how Pelinka operates until LeKlutch is gone. Not hating on Bron, but he and his Klutch team does a lot of meddling with front office decisions.

Partly agree.
What I mean is that he should sign role players that fit in both offensively and defensively. We all know Frank is a defensive minded coach and WB is a poor defender. What he should do is to sign somebody who can defend and shoot some 3s.
From experience, our role player are used to make space for our superstars instead of really taking tons of shots offensively. You can sign 1 or 2 offensive spark to help scoring when we have a scoring drought (A Melo and a Monk or Nunn would be enough. Not all 3 of them). We had KCP and Caruso in the guard position. They are great defenders and streaky shooter or attacker. Now, He goes for Ellington who only knows how to shoot the 3s. He can make space and make 3s on the offensive end. He is a traffic cone on the other end. Will you trust him in the playoff? We have too many defensive liability to hide. AB is a pest on defense, not a great team defender. This guard formation is not something good come playoff time when every teams try to exploit their opponent.
He should not sign DJ too who cannot even crack the Net's roster who was shorthanded inside.
Well, maybe Aria and Nunn can turn things around. IDK. By that time, I will happily admit I am wrong.

Pelinka better start to trade for two of the trio Brogdon, Turner and Sabonis. Westbrook who is going to be an expiring contract next year and THT should be in.

Lakers aren’t trading Westbrook. IMO the only target is Turner if you’re talking about the Pacers, and you’re talking about offering a couple of unprotected picks on top of probably THT-Nunn+Reaves to facilitate a deal. The issue is the picks will be pretty far off.
What’s in the Lakers favor is that I think there will be more sellers than buyers this trade season.

LOL at thinking that we can flip a trade for Brogdon, Turner or Sabonis. THT is our only asset and he isn't fetching anything more than Holiday and Craig which honestly wouldn't be the worst thing right now.

I would rather hang on to THT and just sign Ennis if that’s the case.

I say let’s sign Dragic once he’s bought out! With a healthy Ariza, Nunn and Dragic added to what we have now, we’ll be tough to beat if healthy.

Maybe we shall create a new thread to discuss trade ideas and FA signings?
