How are Lakers gonna get Trae Young ???

I like the dude, but how?

If you mention Reaves In a deal, next ... Not trading Reaves In any deal

Edit: You're also keeping AD/Bron and Reaves ... So out side of those players whos you Including In a trade?

It was a failed attempt at a slight in the direction of whomever signed Westbrook because Kobe liked how he dunks. To keep Reaves. Sorry.

But, yeah, as a fan, I’m all for blowing the cap and the apron to keep the band together.

Do the Lakers pay:

Reaves?

Rui?

Dennis?

Russell?

Lonnie Walker?

Gabriel?

Troy Brown?

Or they will have to perform in the playoffs to get extended?

Walker is very likely gone and Gabriel is a minimum guy at best. Lakers also have Beasley and Bamba on non guaranteed deals they can drop to pay Reaves and Rui. Russell is a lot more interesting and depends on his playoff performance and price point.

I’d pay Reaves (3years) and Rui (2years), try to lock them both up for a good deal.

Gabriel is replaceable, so is Beasley.

D Lo is a no brainer. No D. Dump him, or use him to sign and trade for a bigger contract player so that we can blow through both the cap and apron.

Westbrook like's to challenge people hoping his intensity is enough but one of these days a fan he challenges might set a really bad precedent letting him know.

Hey, I got a hypothetical question. If by any miracle we win the chip this year would it be out of order if the front office invited players from the bubble championship to the parade?

Discuss….

Sure. That would be a cool gesture... Maybe in a separate bus...

Wow! Russ was 3 for 18 for the Clips tonight.
That’s painful.

Thats odd. Here, russ let down the stars of the team. Over there, the star players let him down.

I say yes, send them an invite but it may be awkward for some guys. Kcp may feel ambivalent as he's doing well for Denver now. If we win chip most likely it is through beating them. And anyone we have to beat who was on that championship team.

Dwight and rondo definitely will come.

Not sure about scapegoat Vogel though.

Don't think I want us to face GSW next round, Kings choking hard.

Would have rather matched up against the king in the second round but will GSW contain AD? Will AD be a monster every game in the series? AR and Dennis going to be fighting those Draymond screens. Can't wait 8-)

Keep:
Reaves, Rui, Christie, (*Lonnie, Harrison)

Sign and trade:
Russell and Beasley plus filler from below, for a starting quality defensive point like FVV, Tyus Jones…

Let go of:
Gabriel, Troy Brown Jr, (*Lonnie, Harrison)

Unsure what to do with until after playoffs:
Bamba, Schroeder

*worth developing for another year

Dennis has been good against Curry, has he not?
Lakers can throw a lot of different defenders at Steph, but I’m worried about defending the 3 and DLo. On the other hand, I think the warriors perimeter and interior D is outmatched. If Lakers play with intensity and play disciplined, they should be able to withstand the Curry and Co barrages. Big IF, nonetheless.

Lets just call a quarter a quarter. DLo is a stiff on defense. Dudes will blow right by him, compensating AD will come over, and get foul trouble, and dudes will be open all over the place.

You just described the key to Kerr’s plan of attack. First five possessions will go through (around) D Lo into the chest of AD. Timeout after AD gets his second.

Hopefully after that (preferably before that), Ham will realize D Lo is the offensive point for the second unit and will never start again.
