I was sad to see him go obviously it had to be done, but I still watch pelicans games to see how our former Laker players are doing. I am not surprised he is doing so well and expected him to get better. The only thing that I don't understand is how did he improve as a free throw shooter so quickly he went from 68 percent on the same number of attempts to 85 this year. Any one have any insight did our old squads just not practice free throws at all or what that's a huge jump he was also getting over his blood clot over the off season so when did he time to improve his shot so much any insight?

Nope, I wish him the best, but it is clear he doesn't fit in here next to AD and Bron.

Obviously he had to go doesn't mean I can't still root for him on the pelicans he handled the trade with class and that wasnt the main thing I was getting at just wanted to see for the people who do follow him if anyone can explain to me his huge jump in ft percentage without even a full off season to work at it.

Plus who knows when LBJ retires and Ingram is at his peak would be a nice piece to surround Davis with.

Ingram's shooting motion was always very fluid and consistent. He was missing, but I think it was just a matter of confidence and muscle development. I think that's probably why he was able to make such a huge leap quickly, and other guys, with actual structural issues with their shooting motion, like Ball for example, take much more work to make lasting improvements.

I'm interested but I don't really follow what he's doing anymore, after the first couple weeks or so... I barely have time to follow the Lakers.

Josh Hart is balling. Ingram is going to be a max player. It's just lonzo who's been donkey ****.

I'm amazed how Lonzo has regressed so much. I mean the long leash given to him to start the season and nothing. Bench role? Didn't capitalize.

I think only saving grace for him now is to be with a complementary big to play with and Zion's return couldn't be any sooner.

^Even Markelle fultz is looking to be the better pick than he is .

I wonder how AD and Giannis matched up in the past. I feel like AD could do a good job on him defensively if he takes a step back and let’s his length and defensive instincts dictate. I hope we see them match up this week.

While Hart is doing what he does and Ingram is getting stats neither has had any effect on the team's ability to win. Same thing happened last year here when Ingram had a 10 game run of similar play. I think he'll get a max salary but I'm not seeing a leader on a winning team. Getting a max number attached to him essentially ensures that he'll never play with a player better than him. Thus is today's NBA economy. It's somewhat of a shame because he'd be a good secondary player on a true top 10 team.

Ball is an enigma. He's got NBA talent level in a couple parts of his game mixed in with some really poor fundamental parts of his game. The more disappointing part is that he seems not to care and seems to be missing the fire needed to change it. He's constantly hurt and has been horribly inconsistent. Still young(that's the defense anyway) but he looks further away this year than he did last.

I'll take what we have now. These guys were arguably the right picks at the time with what we knew then. Best we could do. Rarely do you ever draft your way to a contender or a championship. Keep in mind that 3 MVP's were picked by OKC in 5 years along with a pretty good player in Ibaka and they still were never really close to a championship. You have to go get that special player to get you over the top. We've been able to get 2. That just doesn't happen often in the NBA and it rarely if every happens for teams not named the Lakers.

It's just crazy he was sidelined with the blood clot right most of the summer it's a huge jump i really confused on how he jsut tuned it around like that I agree his 3pt shooting was fluid and would get better but his FT shooting wasn't the same case.

When Lonzo this summer, as a point guard recently traded to NOP, watched Griffin’s intro presser it must have been a real shot in the arm for him. When asked who’s team it is, Griffin said it’s Holiday’s team, which told me that Lonzo is soon a goner.

I still claim he’s going to be the best defensive point guard in the league, but that only works if he can earn the minutes to show his work and prove it. He should be on the Spurs or Toronto, in a strong system with a dominant voice coach.

Ingram is a natural and Hart is a beast.

They went to the conference finals 4 times and the NBA finals once. I'd say they were close to a championship during those years.

Watching the Pelicans/Wolves game... They're sleepwalking out there but Ingram is balling... He's so damn fluid...

Other than that, the officiating is awful for them too... And every time they go to review a play, they seem to screw up the call...
No idea what the point of the reviews are anymore... I can take a bad call that doesn't stop the game for 20secs. But a bad call that stops the game and then becomes a worse call is just mind boggling.

Perkins made the point on the jump that they review challenges basically tell a ref you can’t do your job and draws out emotion from them. He said he rather get a tech and go at them that way and they will say I screwed up after y’all both calm down and give you a makeup call over the way you highlight their mistake now
