Good to get back to full strength, but I'm keeping expectation low for Rondo... He can't defend like Avery Bradley and he can't slash and dish or finish like Bald Eagle...
Not sure what he brings to the table at this point.

He can still disrupt when he is on defense, it’s his offensive shooting I worry about. Though looking forward to the alley oops passes to McGree, Howard and AD that I’m looking forward.

Best ball handler on the team and should be a good fit with kuz on the second unit.

He’s the best ball handler and passer on the team. He’s also good at steals and better at rebounding than all our guards. If he shoots the 36% three he’s been shooting every year since Sacramento he’s go be fine.

IDK... Cook and Caruso may be right there with him on the handles side... That said, until Kuz get's full strength and confidence, or we get Iggy, we need a leader of the second unit... Rondo would be a good fit. Especially as he works himself back into shape... He and Kuz kind of need each other in that regard. Kuz is out of sync with most of the team, and Rondo will be too... Kuz getting easy buckets and Rondo getting easy assists would be good.

Lebron is the best passer on the team and it’s not even particularly close.

I’m not expecting him to play much, maybe 10 min tops? But like Kilroy said, I’m not sure what he’s going to bring to the team. Especially since I don’t think he’ll play much.

Cook is a ball handler! Sorry man but you better review the tape! Cook is horrible at penetrating or creating off the dribble for himself or others. It's been painful watching him. To me, Cook is a 10-12th player when we get rolling.

As to what Rondo will bring. On the second unit he will be defending second tier PG's so I'm not that concerned. What he will bring on the offensive end is exactly what that unit needs. Kuz can go and get his shot... no one else on that unit can. Caruso and Rondo as a guard tandem might be really interesting along with Howard and one of Lebron or Davis depending on the situation.

Rondo is a better passer than Bron. He also can throw a variety of different passes which Bron can’t as they get telegraphed. Bron isn’t a bounce, zip, or lob passer in comparison to rondo. Rondo would . Rondo will hit AD for more lob plays than Bron, same for Javale. I also bank on the fact KCP, Kuz, and other guys shoot the 3 better off rondo passing it to them as they won’t have to adjust the catch. His defense is shot, he’s not worse than Cook was last year, but he’s easily going to improve execution

When LBJ sits the guards can not run the offense at all. Caruso struggles to run the pick and roll and drive and kicks. Cook, Daniels, and Pope are completely hopeless play makers. Rondo should sub in when James sits and control the bench unit and re ignite that chemistry with AD. Maybe get Kuz going. I also want Rondo to push the ball and play faster when James sits so struggling guys can get easy buckets.

I like having Rondo around, but in a limited role. When he's on the floor his instincts kick in and he has to be the maestro, for better or for worse. I expect his shot to be completely off, but his D to improve in this system.
Regarding adding him to the rotation, it seems like he will have to eat away at Caruso's minutes. Not a fan of this, considering that second unit has started to develop some identity these past few games with Caruso at the helm.

Caruso is playing SG off the bench. He is coming in when Bradley sits. LeBrons replacement has been Cook to end 1st and 3rd quarters when AD is left out there. It is only logical to put Rondo in there for LEBron for 12-15mins a night. He and AD have great chemistry, HE and Kuz have chemistry. Logic says run him there as LeBrons sub. Caruso still backs up Bradley. KCP backs up Green like he has been doing all year minus the game he had to start

Bron is a much, much, better passer than Rondo, who has a terrible habit of “hunting” for assists. As for him, helping the execution, that remains to be seen. At least we have enough defense to cover him thankfully.

Hope he stays healthy always liked Rondo :) it's also good to know he doesn't care if he starts or is a bench player

Come playoff time if his still healthy he'll be deadly

Also like others stated, I can't wait for Rondo/Mcgee combo :)

I guess he is good to go injury wise, but won’t play Sunday because he needs to work on endurance Not in game shape yet.
