Avery Bradley hairline fracture (to be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks)

From my understanding this typically takes 4-8 weeks to completely heal. Huge blow...but if there is any silver lining atleast they caught it early and we shouldn't have trouble navigating through the easier part of our schedule.

We are very thin at SG now since AB and KCP are out...would love to get Iggy from the Grizz...

Caruso and Daniels will have to step up.

When you finally get to the point where KCP warms the bench the entire game, as he should...this happens.
We have plenty of depth, not necessarily good depth but depth nontheless. We will be fine.
THT needs to start playing.

I hope its Caruso in the starting line up and not Rondo.

I would do KCP actually again.
Caruso is doing better defending 2s than 1s with the way guys have gotten at him. Plus I like his scrappy energy off the bench. I like Cooks shooting too off the bench. And Rondo and Bron don’t click for me.
Then you bring three guards off the bench like the Bulls game with Kuz and Dwight. Only difference is Rondo playmakes in place of Cook and Cook shoots in place of Daniels.
I wouldn’t play kcp a whole lot of minutes but the way he’s gone I would look to boost his head up starting him and get some confidence back. Even if it’s just the confidence of knowing if a small gets hurt Vogel and staff trusts him to start much like they do Kuz if a front court guy gets hurt.
Plus for KCPs career, every year dating back to Detroit or here, his shot starts falling in December and January

The thing with inserting KCP is how much trust LeBron and Davis lost in him. If they start forcing up tougher shots and ignoring KCP as the open man, that is going to be an issue. There's really no way to boost KCP other than wait until he reaches a hotter shooting stretch.

Im not one to have personal bias, over ride the team goal and team mission. If KCP is the right fit and plays well as a fill in, then give KCP the job. Caruso, cook whoever proves themselves worthy to start and pick up the minutes, im all for that.
I have seen enough thus far to trust this coach to decipher the best fit.
Based on minutes played. KCP must earn his paycheck.

Injury luck has been bad but I don't mind early season injuries, gives you the opportunity to get some other guys a run.

^I would say for this season, all of December and the first half of March are our most difficult weeks of play. I think the injuries are not well timed right now (not that they had a choice).
For the next couple of weeks:
Give AD a good rest,
load manage lebron for limited mins,
and hopefully Avery will heal up enough to be able to start play again sometime early in December.
Hope we can stay healthy from then on.

Tough for Bradley. In related injury news KCP's ankle injury that was so bad he went directly to the locker room after it and with no apparent rolling of the ankle appears to have miraculously healed. Coincidentally the replays of him missing a point blank layup also have disappeared.

Rest Bradley as long as it’s needed
Meaningless regular season games

I like Caruso to start. He makes plays on defense and there's chemistry between him and Lebron. Admittedly, I'm not a fan of KCP.

Hoping for a speedy recovery.
Even if it’s on the defensive end, Bradley is still a one side of the ball player. His shot is awful and he’s not a scorer, barely a third string playmaker.
His defense was sorely missed in or main rotations against the Kings.
Caruso will be our starter before it’s time for the Christmas game. Bradley should be our 6MOY candidate.
