We all agree we need him only if he gets bought out. Period.

Can we trade with memphis like Troy Daniels, 2nd, and cash for Caboclo and then they agree behind the scenes to buyout Iggy? At most two 2nds.

I feel like its not "legal", but is it also really against the rules?

If Memphis will agree then let's do it. I don't know who Caboclo is. I'll just look at it Daniels and 2nd round pick for Iggy. It's ok.

I think both LA teams would benefit from having, its one more additional playmaker+defender.

Need? That just depends on his contract. If he can't be bought out, then the need goes down drastically.

And salaries are still tough. I think we must accept the fact that KCP wont waive that NTC.

We dont have much salaries to move. Avery at 4.5 is something, but do we really want to move Avery? I wouldn't want to rn without a better plan at point guard

Lakers have Bradley (4.8), Cousins (3.5), Cook (3), Daniels (1.6), Dudley (1.6), Kuzma (2) all without NTC. That's 16.5m, which gets about 20.5m in contract matching.

Caruso, KCP are fine at PG role if you bring someone back that can playmake like Ingles.

Is Avery expendable? Defense has been even surprisingly good

Avery, cousins(waive) Daniels, and 2 2nds for Ingkes Ingles?
avery should be expendable. He's one of the reasons Lakers have poor spacing. He can't guard anyone worth guarding on an NBA title contending team and on the offensive end, he finished the Lakers.

If the Lakers were going against the Golden State warriors, he'd be a fit. Steph said he's the hardest defender he's faced because he can keep up with Steph

But going through the clippers, Houston, bucks, sixers, etc he's too small.
