AD came directly from being out of bounds and touched the ball, never establishing himself back inside the court prior to touching the ball.

Regardless, he miraculously altered the shot, whether it should’ve been a block or out of bounds afterwards.

Yeah, it just dawned on me after watching it for like a 20th time. :oops:

As you note, that's still an amazing play. His combination of length and timing is something special. Excluding the one season Shaq was completely motivated, we haven't had a defensive big like this since Kareem.

I was all in for dwiight. Glad to see him play solid. But its not proven in a month or before christmas. We have to see verifiable consistency, and lockerroom chemistry guy. Those were the areas questioned in the past. And those things are proven over time. I hope he proves those wrong and undoes some of the soft label
