This team is unstoppable when we make shots at a clip like we did tonight.

I've been his number one hater but Rondo impact this year has been good, mainly because he shoot at a great level so he's punishing the defense for going under, so that's a plus. Hope he's okay, and that he doesn't lose his stroke.

Unstoppable team, first time I see a Laker squad this dominant since 08-10 Lakers. It's time to start load-managing our superstars.

This version of Rondo is a lot different than last year’s version, or really, any incarnation of Rondo.

He’s taking and hitting more 3s (50+%, seriously, wtf did that come from)

He’s getting to the line more AND hitting his FTs (career 61% FT shooter suddenly hitting 73%? Again wtf)

He’s turning the ball over less

I have no idea where he found that stroke from this late in his career. He’s not going to keep hitting 50+ of his 3s, but his increased FT% leads me to believe he’s legitimately improved as a shooter.
Numbers rule the universe.

Blazers came in with Melo on AD and Hood on LeBron, Whiteside and their guards not giving a **** on pick and roll coverage. This is tanking.

Rondo was starting to click with the hybrid starter/bench group the last few games. Hope this injury isn't a big deal.

Kuzma was a little more comfortable last night which is also good to see. We've still not been able to get the entire group together for more than a game or two. If we can get some consistency in the rotations I think it will really help Rondo and Kuzma become what we need them to be.

This game was a matchup nightmare for Portland. Same for Denver and Utah. None of those teams can match our size and paint game.

Chalking up good victories. Portland has been no friend to the Lakers over the years, and they were on a bit of a Melo spark....although that seems to be losing speed.

Team's looking good, no doubt. Noticed AD was only a +6.....what a bum. Sure wish we could trade that guy.

I’m not surprised. He played this way before going down previous season. And the same in the playoffs the year before.

Last year’s stats are useless after December 25, 2018.

He’s been a good 3pt shooter for two, three years now. Works on it, and only takes open ones but usually makes them. If his % went up, I’m not surprised one bit. He’s a gym rat.

I don’t see the reason for the Rondo hate around here. Clutch when it matters.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Good point, I'm actually really curious how Melo responds to getting crushed by LeBron/Lakers... It might kind of have been the nail in the coffin of that feel good story.

Jason Kidd that’s where

Yes sir. He's really doing the Kidd push shot now fron 3 that made Kidd one of the greatest 3 point shooters ever out the blue.

Kidd also has helped find the balance we lacked last year with Bron and Rondo on the floor together with the ball
