This one had that trap game kind of feel. Especially with the way guys were talking after the Cavs game. Too much confidence. Even AD said he could come back, but doesn’t want to ruin the hot streak. Lebron was our rapping the day before. I assume they didn’t prepare at all for this game, and it showed.
Tough road trip coming up. If they aren’t at full strength and focused, won’t be a successful one.

Give credit to a much better Orlando team, now that Vogel is no longer coaching them.

Dwight and mcgee let us down. Because im pointing to the interior defense. The scoring down the middle of the lane or close in to the basket was frustrating. Sure, 3s were hittting for the magic. But those fall to droughts at some point. But our interior defense must remain. And the attempted dunk then block from mcgee was a sign on where they wanted to attack. Close in.

The fact that the Lakers were able to come back from 20 with cook and Daniels on the floor along with kuz having a off game is amazing.

It is... But in a "how stupid were they to let that happen" kind of way.

It's pretty scary how when Lebron is off, the whole team looks like it just stepped off the court at the local Y...
Really, really, hated that look he gave after missing the three at the end... Like 'oh, man that was close. You don't wanna give me that shot." ... Like, yes they do, fool... That's exactly the shot they want to give.

Trying not to pile on Kuz either, but his inconsistency paired with his arrog... er... 'confidence'... Just drives me nuts.

Did he, really?

That would make it tougher to get up for the first half against a decimated Orlando.

I was just gonna make the loss number 8 joke, ‘trade everyone!’

Rob ruined my joke. Fear never was a good long term motivator, so I guess he means it.

He did, but to be fair, it was reported on the 10th originally and then re-reported yesterday... So I'm not sure it would have been a factor last night...

Although they might have only heard about it over the last few days.

Yeah, I'm not talking about kuz because I have nothing positive to say.

If that dude gets hot, he can win you a playoffs series by himself. I highly doubt they are going to move him, he's pretty much the only guy on the roster who can genuinely match up with elite wings.

Just a question, who would you rather:

Green or Roco?

Green 10/10 times. He's a career 40% 3 point shooter (39.7% in playoffs) compare to RoCo's 36% (31.% in playoffs) and a lot more durable.

Aaron Gordon is a bad ass. Markelle Fultz looks really talented and is kind of a floor leader too. Philly really messed up on him.

Kudos to Orlando, they made us look like a small, old, slow team

They all looked hungover. Kuzma needs to chill and get back to play team ball or he can expect to be traded.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Green, Covington can’t dribble at all and his shot came up horrid when it counted. It wasn’t Illysova and Bellineli or Ben, JJ, and Embiid that went ghost when needed and they had a chance to make noise. Saric and Covington went ghost on them.

Then you play in the fact Covington gets hurt too. I would take Iggy over him too

Lakers fans were pretty classy though. Good luck for the season and see you in the Finals!
Yeah if they can get through the Clippers.

Thank you for sharing their stats. It's a amazing that if one current player is recently struggling for a few games that all of a sudden some fans here think that other players from other teams are now better than him. I guess the grass is always "greener" on pun intended...
Can Danny do more? Yes, I expected more from him but it's not like he's a total disaster so far. his split stats are below
Almost identical 38% from 3pts home and away.
Is he the main reason they lose bec he's trash? He shot 42% from 3pt area in losses as compared to 36% when they win.
He didn't have a good December but was really good so far for January at 41% and 38% for November for 15 games.

Maybe he used to be able to but this year he's been a traffic cone on defense. His perimeter defense is the worst we have on wings at the moment. Maybe he's like Horry and coasting but he's not impressed me in the least this year.
