They should change the name to the Kobe Bryant Arena

I was hoping they would do this but...
As a gesture of mourning and good will, Staples should offer to forfeit their naming rights of the Staples center for one year and rename the interior court to Kobe Bryant Arena just for the 2020 season.
Business wise and PR wise, I think this would also be a good business move for Staples.

Think of a street or freeway that could be re-named to honor Kobe and/or Kobe and Gianna/his family...
Options -
The 10 or 110 freeway near Staples...
Figueroa St or Pico Blvd near Staples...
The section of the 5 freeway or 405 freeway where it goes from from L.A. to Orange County (where he lived)...
The 110 is also known as the "Harbor Freeway"... that name is not endearing to anyone. I think the 110 FWY could use a name change.
The "Kobe Bryant Family" Freeway... people would probably refer to it as nicknamed "the KB"

IMO the practice facility should be, not Staples.
He spent way more time there working on his game

I’ve always been biased against companies like Staples and Mercedes and Gillette and so on advertising everywhere all the time. Get your logo out of my face, away from my team’s court.
Watching the Australian open, it was really refreshing to see The Rod Laver Arena, no company billboard. It should still be that not all things can be bought, but it always depends on how much money. Staples Center is big money.
I agree with the OP. Jeannie should pressure AEG to say no to the ad money from Staples and do the right thing.
It should be called The Kobe Bryant Arena from now on. Period.
Right. They’ll keep calling it Staples Center. They should at least add ‘the house that Kobe built’.

Man I'm Aussie and I don't even watch the Australian Open what you doing watching it? I find Tennis a tad too boring almost like Cricket, but Cricket way worse
