Interesting turn of events..... Didn't Vogel just say he was going to help in the playoffs?

^AD is a pro and he will definitely understand as all moves are to help the team as a whole.

I am just kind of duped by this. I wanted to keep DMC but this means we are getting the Markief?

I want to believe that there is a handshake agreement that we will bring him back later (assuming he gets 100% healthy). He takes one for the team only because he is taking up a spot and he’s not close to being ready to play. Everyone else has a playing role, albeit minor they can contribute or serve as injury insurance. It makes sense but the only thing is he would lose out on staying with his brothers the rest of the way.

I’m rooting for him to get healthy and come back to the Lakers although not sure if they’d sacrifice Javel or Howard. Unless they want to carry 3 bigs and trade Kuz. AD would play preferred position at the 4 and we would be a beastly front court.

Here’s hoping we get the chip and get Boogie a ring anyways to show gratitude and resign him at a fair contract full of incentives.

My guess is that they had an agreement to let him workout at UCLA Health until this summer when he can sign a better contract if he proves he can stylay healthy. Probably doing it for his good to prolong his career. He wanted to play this year bad.

Rob is slick. He knew Cousins isn’t going to be ready by March 1st, so he told him to get healthy and don’t rush back and in return he can actually contribute to the team and actually have a role. AND teams won’t be able to sign our player that we released (Clippers). Took me a minute to get why we did it, but we are that much stronger now. Lets go!

I think we re-sign him next season if he is healthy. We let him fully rehab this season. It will be interesting if we win the chip this year and you have DMC to add next year.

He is a good addition to a champion team. Center rotation of Howard / McGee / and a healthy DMC will be awesome.

Lakers hopefully re-sign him. His been a good part of their culture

I feel bad for boogie. He was always there, every game. He really was a part of the team.
