My favourite part of the night was the physicality the Lakers played with from the second quarter on. In lots of big games, we've shrunk when things got tough. With LeBron captaining the ship, there was no way that was going to happen. Going at Giannis, Avery Bradley having a brilliant defensive game (he was terrible offensively), and AD coming up huge down the stretch.

I'll sleep nicely tonight.

25 points in the 2nd half

He hardly played in the halfway and was garbage for the first half of the 4th quarter. It's unbelievable how amazing he is that regardless of all that, he can finish with the numbers he did.

He does this more than anybody I can remember, certainly among Lakers players. You think he's not playing great -- and he definitely wasn't for the first 40 minutes or so -- and he still puts up 30 and 9. That's a season-high type performance from somebody like Pau.

To follow this up, how many times would you guess Pau scored 30-plus with us?

The best part of the game for me was Bron and Davis forgoing the weak 3's for pounding the paint. Davis settles a lot for jumpers over getting in there and forcing the action. Bron did it and he got to the line and they exposed the Bucks as a team that is a product of a weak conference with a few of their "key" players who have a better rep than they are.

Bradley - 30mins 0-5FG 2pts 3reb 1ast 0stl 1blk +24
D Green - 30mins 2-6FG 6pts 2reb 2ast 2stl 0blk +17

I've slowly but surely been drifting away from Green & Bradley as starters, instead of KCP & Caruso, but maybe Vogel knows a thing or two about coaching.

Lebron reminding Giannis that nothing has changed. He's still the top lion roaming the savannah.

I still can't get over LeBron's defensive performance tonight. Haven't seen him clamp someone like that for 3 straight quarters in a long time, let alone against the supposed "best player in the league."

conserving energy. We've been saying that for awhile now.

He's shown up now. He even carried AD while ad was struggling in the first half but got it in the second half. Kuzma sucked by the numbers but he did play decent defense on middleton. I hope the lebron naysayers can put the slander to rest now.

LeBron was the best player in the league tonight... It was a super performance... Hope he's got more in him, because we're going to need it. We're still a little thin on offense.

if you look at the boxscore, it was terrible if you go by individual numbers, but collectively the bench showed up. The bench scored like 20+ points. And Dion is on the way and potentially someone else for the lakers.

The top 6 guys were all plus players in Bradley (23), Danny(17), Kuz(11), Javale (9), and Bron/AD (8). We can live with that always.

Good win, I think we match up with them pretty well despite the first game. Like someone said earlier, I really liked how we attacked Giannis and its something we could do in a series. If he gets tired or in foul trouble we can send Bron or AD at him over and over and switch out guys on the other end. But that's what scares me about the clips a little as they can kind of do the same thing to Bron with Kawhi and PG.

This also really reminded me of '09 When Kobe was the older, slightly smaller but more skilled and diverse player going against the bigger younger more dominant Bron who wasn't as skilled yet. Now Bron is the older, smaller but more skilled player going against the younger bigger more dominant Giannis and coming out on top. Anyone remember that sweet fade away to seal against the #1 record Cavs in 09? Sad they didn't get to meet in the finals, but hopefully the result will be the same this year, we get our chip :)
