Who steps up now and is deserving of that PT? Should they sign another PG?

Was really looking forward to playoff Rondo though

Hi doc. Can you merge our threads? Thanks.

Somehow we lose a solid playmaker, but we do have lots of combos who can do a bit of ball distribution but who are better scorers than Rondo

The bad news is that he is a quick healer.

The good news is that AC will get big minutes now with both Rondo and Bradley out.

The bad news is that so will JR Smith, and our defense without Bradley will suffer.

You guys do realize we are 13 & 1 without Bradley... While I like Bradley’s tenacity, his 3 point shot was poor after a hot start... He is over rated fellas...

Sorry, didn’t see your thread. I must’ve forgot to refresh the page. Unfortunately I can’t merge the threads on my end, would need a mod.

Dion Waiters going to get some run too, I forget he’s on the roster too.

I'm excited to watch Waiters. But a playoff rotation of

KCP (30-35 MPG)
Green (30 MPG)
LeBron (40 MPG)
Davis (40 MPG)
McGee (10-14 MPG)

Howard (18-25 MPG)
Caruso (28-33 MPG)
Kuz (26-35 MPG)

Add in Morris or Waiters as the 9th guy and we're good.

I don't know if playoff Rondo is still a thing. If they make a deep run Rondo could produce a couple key games in the playoffs, but no doubt the team is much more balanced without him handling the ball. Especially in the playoffs when Lebron will get even more minutes.
Excited to have Rondo act as another assistant coach for the next 2 months.
Hoping AC and KCP come in ready, because I don't trust JR and Dion when it counts.

As long as JR and Dion can play acceptable defense, I'm cool

Man, I forgot about him. Our defense just lost both Bradley and Rondo (his vocal leadership is great no matter his shot knees). Waiters plays no defense if I remember correctly. Neither does JR Smith at the two. Our best defensive PG rotation will be Caruso and an unfocused KCP?

As much as I believe in Caruso long term, that rotation is not a championship PG rotation unless Caruso can play 36 mpg. Congrats to Milwaukee, Toronto or Clippers in advance.

Can someone please wave a magic wand and trade JR Smith and Waiters for FVV tomorrow? Pelinka, don’t let LBJ build the team for you. Speak up, tell him a story.

Defense wins rings, not ill advised jump shots. I’m a bit bummed out. No rings for us this year either.

This puts AD in double duty and foul trouble and increased injury risk every night... D Ho and JMG better step it up but in the playoffs, we’ll get exposed. That’s too big a margin of inability for a championship run. End of season.

Too late. We needed a second ball handler, and a defensive wing for the bench. If covid didn't happen Bradley would be playing right now. Oh one more thing you go huge line up for 2020-2021 is a stupid idea because half can't defense, and is out of position LeBron is not chasing guards in his advanced age.

It’s the same surgically repaired thumb that’s he’s had problems with for a few years. I actually think Vogel not being able to play Rondo 25 mins a game is a plus, but we’ll see how LeBron and Waiters handle the responsibility of running the offense.

I see Rondo hate is as popular on here as it got on the Boston forum, lol. Anyone know if there is any chance he comes back at any point in the playoffs? As a Celtics die hard I was really looking forward to watching Rondo and Bradley in the playoffs.
