I'll be shocked if the Lakers play today. The season has yet again been postponed

Game 5 for OKC/HOU is cancelled as well so it will definitely be the case LAL/POR.
Honestly unless the players agree to cancel the playoffs altogether, this isn't much better than wearing BLM on their jersey's.
True awareness is recognized when everyone's pockets are affected. This is a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things.

Eliminate racial injustice, is what I meant.
Some things are bigger than the game. It’s really good to see the players standing up for what’s right.
Then, eliminate Portland.

I bet the league and all the billonaires are calling their local officials like wtf, go arrest that guy. He's costing us money
It probably doesn't come from a sincere place as it does from the players, but the players are affecting change. Good on the players.

What’s unique is that even though I hate the Portland Trailblazers, I feel compelled and truly want to go to city of Portland to support the protests. A lot of cray cray stuff these past 3 months but it seems like unrest there is sparking up again this week especially with no end in sight.

The Blazers prevented themselves from getting eliminated.

This puts pressure on the owners to swing their political muscle locally in Milwaukee, Portland, Chicago etc. To them this is about money; their fan base is with the players and vice versa. They should align with the right side of humanity, even if all they think about is their own profit. I wonder how much weight they’ll throw around.
It’ll be interesting to see what pressure the NBA puts on the owners to impact their local situation.
If the players ended the season tonight, I’d understand it. It would suck, but I’d grok it.

sounds like it
I hope this can bring about real change instead of just posturing.
The season ending would suck but I too would understand it. I was looking forward to the Kawhi-Lebron show down.

Whatever happens i'll support the players. If they want to cancel or continue playing the rest of the season, I get it.
What a strange year this has been.

I don’t know if anything happens. It sounds like it was a “vote” where the majority was to continue the season. Lakers and clippers voted to boycott, but they were the minority. Don’t know if they’re actually going to boycott since they’re vote didn’t win out.
