I assume our starting line up will be-

Schroder
Matthews (unless KCP comes back)
Lebron
Harrell
AD

bench- Caruso, Morris, Dudley, THT, McGee

question marks- Kuzma, Bradley, Cousins, Rondo.

We apparently signed a guy named Zavier Simpson from Michigan.

Never heard of the guy, he is a PG. Not sure if camp fodder or if he will stick.

Lakers have 12.5m capspace and 5 roster spots.

5 vet min salaries is 12.8m. Looking like it's vet mins all the way from here.

He's where we're at right now:

Lebron
Davis
Kuzma
KCP
Harrell
Schroder
Matthews
McGee
Horton-Tucker
Caruso

We also have a couple of guys who don't count as a roster spot in Zavier Simpson and another guy we signed yesterday out of Oregon, can't remember his name.

We can also bring back Kostas and Cacok, but as of right now we can sign 5 more minimum guys.

Here's a pool of some players who haven't signed already and might take the minimum:

Marc Gasol
Markieff Morris
Nicolas Batum
Bismack Biyombo
Kent Bazemore
Elfrid Payton
Evan Turner
Solomon Hill
John Henson
Matthew Dellavedova
Brandon Knight
Andre Roberson
E'Twaun Moore
Wayne Ellington
Ersan Ilyasova
Marco Bellinelli
Langston Galloway
Frank Kaminsky
Alex Len
Bryn Forbes
Wilson Chandler
Kyle Korver
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
Austin Rivers
Kyle O'Quinn
Harry Giles
Torrey Craig
Shabazz Napier
DeAndre Bembry
Emmanuel Mudiay
Damyean Dotson
Aron Baynes
Glen Robinson III

To make a mental note of the depth:

McGee - Harrell
Davis - Kuzma
Matthews - Tucker
Pope - Caruso
James - Schröder

I'd definitely bring back Kieff and Baynes if he takes the minimum.

It is quite clear that we need a center or two. I'm not interested in Cousins at this point. I agree with Doc, using a roster spot on Cousins wouldn't be smart. Some combination of Gasol/Baynes/Len. I do not trust McGee and I wish he could trade him.

Looks like we also lost some rebounding with Rondo, Danny, and Howard gone. These are some of the best at their respective position when it comes to rebounding.

We need to look to deal out McGee somehow (look, he ain't bad and his contract is decent so i'm sure some team would take him on his small salary). Ideally Baynes + Gasol is the way we go for the 2 we go for.

I think the Lakers should look to get one more full sized defensive/rebounding center so your not 100% dependent on McGee to keep AD from having to start at C more then he would want, another PG/Combo guard so maybe you don't have to start LBJ or Schroeder at PG. Then just fill out with avliable shooters, or anyone with upside to be a play-off contributor
You either pimping the system, or gettin' pimped by the system.

Pipe dream. Or is it?

LeBron | Schroder | Hill
Matthews | Caruso | THT
KCP | Batum | RHJ
AD | Kuzma | Kieff
Gasol | Harrell | Boogie

G - James [35] | Schröder [28]
G - KCP [28] | Caruso [22]
F - Matthews [20] | Horton-Tucker
F - Davis [36] | Kuzma [23]
C - Gasol [18] | Harrell [30]

Best lineup in the league - only hole is backup SF, which can be addressed by a ring chaser. Otherwise, Kuzma will have to play almost half of his minutes at the 3.

Hard to know what the final roster will be, and how exactly Vogel will use them. He likes to use the full season to figure out what his rotations will be.

Most of our players are multi position.

LBJ can play 1-4, AD could play 2-5, Kuz plays the 3-4, Caruso 1-3, Harrell 4-5, Kostas 4-5, KCP 2-3, THT 1-3, Pope 2-3.

PG: Schroeder | Caruso | THT
SG: Matthews | Pope | THT
SF: James | Kuzma | McKinnie
PF: AD | Harrell | P Gasol or M Morris
C: M Gasol | Kostas | DMC
2020-2021
PG: Caruso | Schroeder | THT
SG: Pope | Matthews | Tinkle or K Harris
SF: James | Kuzma | McKinnie
PF: AD | M Morris | (P Gasol?)
C: M Gasol | Harrell | Kostas

Last year to this year, the team went from deep chemistry to deep warrior
(trimmed off some baby-fat, gained a bit more matured-muscle sinewy)

Im loving the look of the roster now
(Just got to sign Morris and or grab one more 3&d trade kuz or keep him as our 3&d 1 more year seasoned )

BRON / A.D. / TREZ / SCHRÖDER / KCP
M.GASOL / MATTHEWS / CARUSO / DUDLEY
THT / KUZ? / MORRIS?

we are set here ; let's get the new season started im hyped !!!
I have never seen such a warrior Lakers lineup like this ever.
