So just a fun thread b4 the season starts.

Let's Assume Lakers are already in the Finals for next season - I mean heck we've gotten better on paper can we mesh?

So which Eastern team you think will make it all the way?

I'm going with Nets as long as they stay healthy

But would love to see a Bos/LAL Finals call me crazy but I want to beat them senseless in win a chip over them:)

Boston is overrated and didn't improve. Heat wont be able to repeat in the finals, so from the East it comes down to Philly and Bucks and i think Philly comes out of the east.

Dont think Denver is going to be better than last year and Dallas is at least a year out, so I expect the Lakers to beat the Clippers in the western finals and then beat the Sixers in the finals.

Philly vs Lakers.

I think Philly beats the Bucks in the ECF, and the Lakers will beat the Pelicans to win the WCF.

Edit: it’ll probably be a rocky season with shutdowns and teams quarantining. Unfortunately, opening up means flaring up. Flaring up means death. Many coaches are older. Hard one to predict but I’d be shocked if it was anything like a straight up normal season given that the plague will be in the crowd every night.
