Pope, Caruso, Schröder and Matthews, this is why we signed you; to shut good backcourts down and hit the three. Not to just hit the three but to also do the dirty work of suffocating other backcourts.

It wouldn’t surprise me if where the other guards fail defensively, THT will have success. His length might bother both of them.

I’d love to see a bit of a breakout game for Kostas.

Edit: Defensively, it’s all about team defense; help defense with crisp rotations is a must against POR, active feet running through (above) screens, loud communication from the anchor C and out. Make it difficult for their guards! No space. Chase them out to the half court line. They’ll still make threes from there.

Edit 2: Offense: Give the ball to LBJ. Let him decide when to give it to Gasol to create the assist. Done.

So are we ever going to fly out to another city this season?

I wouldn't even mind if he's sitting this one out, as those two incidents seemed rather painful. No need to play back 2 back if that would put more stress on his ankle and cause a serious injury in the process. Time for AD to step up and play and Bron to rest.

I don't hate Kuz this season.

Caruso tested positive? Even if just contact tracing, I'm surprised no other Lakers got hit if Caruso is out.

With no Caruso more time for THT, but I'd rather have Matthews gets 20+ minutes and get some shots up

Guys have been making shots over Kuz at a crazy clip, and it's not that he's playing bad defense.
