The game wasn't very competitive. A win is a win though.

I love this team. I remember last year there were several spans of weeks where the schedule looked tough w all sorts of tough teams to play against I was so concerned , I had to make a couple of threads regarding those stretches.

This season so far im lookin down the calendar and I spot...none. Like almost a full-on, easy schedule ...the whole season

Bucks game? I dunno. Seems easy
Denver game? I dunno. Looks easy.
Hobos? Meh
Maybe a Miami game. Yeah. There's a tough, 1-game stretch there.
Nets? TBD

The general forum will be knockin on us bc the NBA gave us the easiest schedule this year.


Let me tell you, our true tough opponent who will always be lurkin in the shadows to pop up at the opportune time, is Team Injury.
This is our truest opponent.

For every great team, there's at least one team that just has their number, no matter what. I'm not sure who that is this season... Maybe Portland?
But that said, Clips, Bucks, Denver and Nets are all going to come at us hard, and I don't think we're interested in situationally, upping our energy until later in the season, so I expect some losses in the group. I think Miami might be doing what we're doing a little bit, so that one probably won't match the intensity of the playoffs, but they could try to send a message...

But regardless of all that, we're still just cruising along. So it doesn't really matter all that much.
It doesn't really pay to get too focused on any of these games right now. We're not going to know who our true toughest matchup is going to be until maybe the last 10 games of the season.

The team is looking scary right now. I hope the team can remain healthy and keep building that chemistry. I haven't seen such a offensive Laker juggernaut for 15 years.

We looked great the last few games, but let's also take a step back and look at the competition we faced. Houston was mentally out of it and OKC is probably the worst team in the West. I'm looking forward to the Bucks & Nuggets matchup to see where we're really at, especially how our newcomers such as Schroder & Harell or even THT deal with those teams and what extra dimensions they bring in those moments.
