That pistons starting line up looks atrocious. Lakers need to focus this time.

Yeah then lose focus in 2nd half that's how we lose lol I'm such a Debbie downer these days I don't trust this team.

Lakers shooting 70% from the field, yet trail by three because of 8 turnovers in this first quarter SMFH

Another pathetic first quarter. Only down by two, but turned the ball over 8 times and gave up 29 points to the worst shooting team in the league lol

Watching Gasol closely on defense helps me appreciate what he brings.
He is definitely slow.
But he is super smart.
He positions himself super well which I think makes up a little for his lack of speed.
He communicates constantly telling his teammates where to be and where the picks are.
He is much better than I thought guarding the pick and roll.
And although he is slow, he is back in defense and in position quicker than some teammates.
He also guards the paint well.
So although he is not the typical rim protector, he is a pretty good paint protector .
I can see why the teams he’s been on have been good defensive teams .

So we're second in the NBA in blocks but we need rim protection?

This game wouldn't be this close if the Pistons weren't +18 from behind the arc.

Lakers led 80-63 at the 3:55 mark and only lead by 10 going into the fourth

I agree with you. I think we’re good defensively as we are.
The only reason I think we need another big is for back up in case Gasol gets hurt.

So predictable, Lakers with a turnover out of the timeout.

And now down to a 2 point lead lol
Josh Jackson 5-8 from three. Lakers as a team 5-11.
