There are 45 better C in the G-league. We have two better who don't even play.

Well, he's 6/11 and 245 and 25 yo... Decent block numbers and can score double digits... At least once in a while...

Known him since he was in high school as my moms student. Long, quick jump, challenges ****. Biggest fault had been the same since he was a teen. Liked to party and drink. Can effect his play and effort.

Dont know how I feel about the guy. But we do need a blocker.

I’ve never heard of him but wonder how he’s better than some g leaguers like Skal Labiserre.

He was terrible everywhere he played. That's why he was cut this season like dirty undewear and why he got a 10 day contract and not a regular one.
Soft like hell, the occasional athletic block won't cut it with me. He doesn't even have an impressive block rate to begin with, not to mention he's a 7.7 rebound per game guy per 36.


Kostas and Cacok are way better. So are a gazillion bigs from the G-League. We even cut a better player in Jordan Bell.
Problem is most of them have rights affiliated to other teams.

I thought he was still with Atlanta but he's athletic and dunks or blocks anything in his air space. I like this move better than Whiteside.

He could be a poor-man's McGee... Not a bad deal if it works... Hence the 10 game... But my expectations are low, and I would not be satisfied with this as our only move right now.

Does Pelinka know that the struggles have been due to only having one playmaker (LeBron) on the team right now?

Schroeder/LeBron need a backup

Our interior defense really needs help so I'm ok considering it's a 10 day contract. Hopefully he can provide some sort of presence for the bench defensively.

He’s really springy and can double jump with ease to block shots. He will be a solid blocker/rebounder. We don’t need him to score all that much, but the alley oop threat will be there.

Never heard of him either, but I like the pickup. Someone young, athletic and big. Unless he's horrible, I'd expect him to get a 2nd 10 day contract and see what the buyout market brings

I think the reasoning is open eyed and well informed. Low risk, nothing to lose. Most likely, the only reward is nothing more than having another live big body in the paint while AD is injured.

If we luck out, he might maybe not have played under a great coaching staff like this one before, so there is a slim chance that he could have more upside than meets the eye, under Vogel.

Defense is a mindset, so is rebounding. That can be coached/taught.

Personally, I’d like to see Kostas and Cacok get those minutes.

This dude played well last nite game. However he hurt his back last nite and he also has low work ethic, so we will see if he pans out.
But if he produces like last nite on a consistent basis, we should add him to our team permanently.

In a perfect world that would happen. Then we could see Javale traded to another team, bought out, and sign him back.
