The SGs have been playing poorly. Lakers.really need a backup guard. I wonder why they haven't picked one up yet.

Where you going to get one? I mean because right now you’re looking at where do you find another wing or guard.

Ariza didn’t get bought out like some assumed thanks to Miami.

Bradley has baggage and even then the rockets owner is so cheap he’s not paying him to play somewhere else.

Porter wants to stay in Orlando and prove he can get healthy because really he and Ross can chuck whenever they want.

JJ is pissed he got traded to Dallas.

I just don’t see the guard or wing you can think about getting right now unless if you’re signing Lance Stephenson to return and give you some minutes. I would even take Korver old ass right now for 10 mins a night at the 3 if he is in shape enough to run and spot up. Even would take old ass ISO Joe after watching the fiba games

And yes Kuzma is going to need a rest when Ad and Bron return because when you look at totals since Bron went done. He’s played the most minutes, he’s scored the third most points, hit the most threes, grabbed the most offensive and defensive rebounds, blocked the most shots, is second in total steals, is second in assists. The jump to 38-39 mins to me is crazy, it’s necessary but it’s damning to a certain extent because we have no other player who can fit a swing spot or handle the ball and make a play when Dennis sits if it isn’t Kuz.

What happened to low post ball? I can’t stand the three point chucking. And it’s not just Morris and Gasol and Wes etc. In this game, we died by the three. It’s lame to watch. Weak. Morris and Gasol should post people up.

KCP needs to wake up. 5ppg when LBJ and AD are not playing? Take a cue from Kuzma, take charge, eat some space, attack the rim, draw a foul. Wtf? Same with Caruso and Wes and THT; attack like you mean it, make cuts.

It’s as if they all think they’re LBJ and can afford to chuck threes during the regular season.

However, I’m confident it’ll be fixed. I trust our coaching staff to correct it before we reach the playoffs. When the post season is here, it’s a different game and our vets will step it up.

Everyone can ignore the offensive attention we are giving Drummond right now while LeBron and AD are out because when they come back it's going to be a different story. I'll say this though, Drummond moves so well for a big man. I see ton of potential when LeBron and both ADs are on the court together.

If this team really declined putting him in a deal for Lowry.. they should be ashamed of themselves. Any basketball fan with a brain and an understanding of this team's window would've done it. Add in the Schroder contract talks that weren't public until after the trade deadline (which the front office had knowledge to).. and that mistake is going to cost this team bad.

Agree. I try to not to get too emotionally attached to any young player on our team. I'm in favor of trading any of our young players for a player that would help in the near term. I like THT as a prospect, but I'm nowhere as high on him as some here. Right now he's a one dimensional player that has to potential to be much better in a few years.

On another note, after watching this game, I'm not in favor of paying Schroder a nickel more than 20m per annum.

I didn't know he was that mobile. I've obviously seem Drummond play but you watch people differently when they're on your team. My reaction last night when I saw him in the first quarter running like a gazelle was, the NBA really gave LeBron and AD this guy for free

Same. Fixed the bold for you. :meditate:

He prides himself on being able to guard 1-5. He’s got very quick feet and is very smart. We now have three starters who can do that in LBJ, AD and AD2.

I knew from watching highlights of Drummond that he is very agile for a big man. He has the tools to become a dominant defensive player in the league. Now it's up to him whether he wants to transform into that, or continue thinking he's a superstar on offense.

McKinnie, cash and a second round pick would've gotten Wayne Ellington. I think the Lakers assumed he would get bought out. Well... that hasn't happened and won't be happening according to reports. And that's pathetic.

Bradley, Rivers, Augustin if they get bought out.

Teague would have been good.

But beyond that I'm thinking G-league prospects.
