I hate to post this but life is tough in the NBA. we can post the latest updates on injuries to make it easier to find them. I'll start with the latest on Lebron, AD and AD2

Lebron:
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is expected to be sidelined between three to five more weeks after suffering a high right ankle sprain last week, according to an Athletic report.

“I really don’t have anything to add to where he’s at other than he’s out indefinitely,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said following shootaround in preparation for the team’s game on Thursday against Philadelphia. “We’re proceeding right now. My whole focus is the guys we have in uniform and the Philadelphia 76ers. We’re not really going to give updates as to where he’s at with the recovery.”

If that timeline bears out, James could return anywhere between April 16 to April 30. That would sideline James for an additional eight to 15 games. But the Lakers have nine regular-season games in May before the playoffs start on May 22.

Trudell further clarified that the advanced work includes increased volume and intensity in shooting, dribbling, and position-specific drills. The 28-year-old was spotted on Friday night working out before the team’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It’s quite clear that the Lakers are handling the situation with tremendous caution. The eight-time All-Star is working through an extremely sensitive area. LA wants to avoid additional issues with that part of his ankle, as it could see things head south quickly.

There isn’t yet a set timetable for Davis’ return, but he is at least progressing forward in his recovery process. The Lakers will continue to monitor the situation closely to see how his body responds to the recent increased workload.

We need both back by the Dallas series on April 22nd. Our schedule from that point on:

April 22nd - Lakers @ Mavs
April 24th- Lakers @ Mavs
April 26th - Lakers @ Magic
April 28th - Lakers @ Wizards
April 30th - Kings @ Lakers
May 2nd - Raptors @ Lakers
May 3rd - Nuggets @ Lakers
May 6th - Lakers @ Clippers
May 7th- Lakers @ Blazers
May 9th - Suns @ Lakers
May 11th - Knicks @ Lakers
May 12th - Rockets @ Lakers
May 15th - Lakers @ Pacers
May 16th - Lakers @ Pelicans

A ton of winnable games plus a couple huge, playoff type games (Nuggets, Clippers, Blazers, Suns)

So the Space Jam 2 official trailer came out... I wonder how much more time AD and LeBron are going to be out... Not to be a conspiracy theorist, or anything... But yeah...

Like I said in one of my previous posts... Post-production work takes time...

As long as they all come back for around 10-15 games together before the playoffs to build some chemistry.

My theory is they're all hanging at LeBron and Ad's houses and playing on their personal courts...
Honestly, I wonder if that's the real reason LeBron was pushing so hard the beginning of the season... Because he knew he was going to have to take some time off...

I don't really care either, as long as they come back in time to play themselves into shape and unity.

Although, my confidence take a hit with each week they're both out... Especially AD... Big guys take longer to get their wind back and get flexible again...

Probably the least severe fracture you could have, but unfortunate nontheless. Did he mention any timetable? Can't imagine him sitting for that long.

I'm hoping he feels 100% if he decides to go play against Dallas. No need to bring him back too early if that's what he described it as. Restricted minutes will probably be the procedure for the next handfull of games.

Sounds like a 15 min restriction tomorrow. Which is quite annoying since he said he’s 100%. He probably won’t have a significant impact on the outcome of any game until he’s back to 28+ mpg. Hopefully he doesn’t get any setbacks and ramps things up by next week.

I wonder if Bron comes back with min restrictions.

https://theathletic.com/news/lebron-james-absence-not-medically-related-says-frank-vogel/uI96E3xCKOFe
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is aiming to return to the lineup next week after rehabbing a sore right ankle, sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania on Thursday, but Lakers coach Frank Vogel said James' absence the past two games was not due to his injury.

James returned for two games over the weekend but sat out Monday’s win over Denver and missed Thursday’s game against the Clippers. After Thursday's 118-94 loss to the Clippers in which Anthony Davis exited with back spasms, Vogel said James' absence the past two games was not medically related. When asked why James wasn't present, Vogel said "he's just not here," and that James wouldn't travel with the team to Portland for a critical matchup with the Trail Blazers on Friday.

I guess, Lebron has better things to do and playing right now is not the top priority...
Schroder spilled the beans that he AND Lebron are not vaccinated and now Vogel revealing his absence is not medically related....it takes guts for Frank to expose this, maybe he is that frustrated.
