Another game, another misfire for KCP, WTF is wrong with this guy?
1. he is butt hurt that Rob tried to trade him?
2. He has the Eddie Jones syndrome, shrinks now that pressure to produce is on without Lebron, he hides between passing lanes so he gets less touches and shots?
3 he’s been bricking shots during shooting practices and he’s afraid his average FG% will go down?
4. Kuz and Kieff is beating him to his favorite shooting spots like corner 3’s?
5. Teammates like Schroder and Kuz hate him and they’re not passing him the ball?
6. Vogel simply wants other players to take more shots?

I think you're overthinking things. KCP is at his best when he's getting very little attention from opposing defense. He's not good enough to create for himself. Without Lebron or another competent distributor, he'll likely struggle to produce on offense. He is similar to many players in this regard. Not long ago Matthews could not hit a shot to save his life. Several of our role players have looked awful since Lebron has been out. There's no reason to only single out KCP. Caruso has also been awful. Kuz, Kieff, Schroder, etc. have all been very inconsistent.

Honestly, KCP was brought in because he complements LBJ and AD pretty well. Right now KCP has no clue how to generate points because he's always feeding off LBJ or AD. Yeah he needs to play better, but this whole team is lost without their two anchors on offense and defense.

He's been horrible outside of the first month or so of the season. And it's unfortunate because he was amazing in the bubble and his big moments in the Finals (specifically Game 4) will go down in Lakers history.

But.. he's been pathetic. And something needs to change. We really, really needed KCP insurance at the deadline and didn't get it.

He's the only member of the starting line up from the bubble who has remained healthy and played without taking a game off. I'd cut him some slack and sit him down for a month once LeBron is back. Vogel's defensive scheme is also quite taxing on guards so the fatigue + zero rest must really take your legs away for 3 pt shooting.

Seems the only people left on this board are the Debbie Downers that think everyone on the team sucks. Everybody else left for a more positive environment.

you are probably right, but it's not like he had AD and Lebron back in Detroit when he averaged 14.5 pts. He had the freaking Reggie Jackson, the limited Drummond and Tobias Harris as teammates. I am not expecting him to score 14+ pts/game but 2 pts? he is averaging 6 pts/game the last 7 games, can't he hustle back and try to get layups, provide screens, get an offensive reb and put back?
Vogel is a defensive minded coach and he will leave you there if you are working very hard on defense... but I don't see much. Slava might be right, he could be exhausted...

hes washed he needs be bought in the off season. Unless he finds his magic in the playoffs (he wont) hes useless to us or to any team

Im crossing my fingers that KCP will reach into that remaining power source for his last playoff run with us. Kind of like that rumored hidden power source they say for a dead cell phone to call 911.
