I get the feeling Schroder isn't a winner. He seems to lack intangibles, a connection to the spirit of team winning. He needs to watch film of Derek Jeter.

Gotta give him his props when he does well. Late game AD was turning the ball over like crazy. Dennis punched in a few late game points and sealed the deal

Couple great games by Dennis... We'll need more until LeBron is 100%

They essentially made Dennis the sg and Lebron the pg for the first time. They seemed to flip it after the play in game debacle. It suits Lebron who is limited right now and it fits Dennis who excelled last year off CP3.

Lebron has managed the games well as the point guard before that third quarter when he got to the globetrotter routine, but I have come to understand he as the point guard gets turnover prone because he gets fancy and tries to channel Magic too much.

Dennis is an amazing burst of speed and energy. He’s not Rondo in terms of seeing and managing the floor, but he is an upgraded version of Van Exel with his speed and scoring. He can attack and kill runs.

I will also say Vogle stopped trying to make Drummond a Dwight 2.0 and settled for making him Javale instead. He now comes in challenges shots, rim runs, get tossed the ball, and knows he’s not touching a 4th quarter floor. That suits Drummond better too in terms of his limitations as he never had the iq to be Dwight.

Not a few have said before that the perfect backcourt teammate for Lebron before is a non ball dominant/spot up shooter, maybe that was the case 8-12 years ago but James is now 35 yrs old. He made it work with Wade and Kyrie too bec he needed dynamic scorers to help pace himself bec esp now with his age and nagging injuries. Game 2, Dennis came to work esp in the 2nd quarter, allowing James and AD to conserve their energy to close the game late.
For game 3, Lakers' great defense held up esp in the first half. Lebron took control early in the 3rd but it just seems like he was getting a little tired by the last quarter esp after trying to rile up Crowder. Sure there was that burst of Adrenalin going at it but some point, Lebron NEEDED someone to take over bec again, he couldn't single highhandedly create scoring opportunities EVERY POSSESSION.
