Our playoff lives essentially start tomorrow.
Portland win or loss will either make us or break us. Either a very favorable 6th seed or go down in the play-in.

It would be nice to get today to push the clips into the 4/5 bracket. I am not optimistic.

Yup, this game is over. Lakers shooting just 38% from the field and 36% from three while they're allowing the other team to shoot 66% from the field and 63% from three, and down by 20. Sounds about right

This isn't even remotely entertaining. TNT should've canceled this game and showed another game.

It's not our year, it's sad obviously but this season is the complete opposite from last year.

Yup. We at least got one last year, there were historically great teams who couldn't even get one.
Let alone repeat, very few teams have repeated in NBA history at close to full strength, we were on shambles for most of the year.

Time to tone it down with the scenarios, playoff/play in seedings, what opponent would we prefer etc. It's not **** happening this year, sorry. Take it like a man and get your hopes up for next year.

I agree, this year is totally cursed, we have no chance with so many injuries. Thank God we won #17 in 2020!

It’s true the Lakers have a really bad luck with injuries this year. Admittedly, the Lakers were very lucky with injuries last year. Also, the Lakers ’opponents in the playoffs almost all had injury problems.

We are going nowhere in the play-ins or playoffs.

AD declares they are back right after the Denver game.
He finds out they are playing the Clippers in national TV and THT is also not playing......
He looks over the Clippers team, everyone is playing... He takes 9 shots misses 7 of them while the Clippers can't miss from 3....
he looks over.... then boom, ouch, his back hurts......
After the game, his back feels better and plans to play tomorrow vs Portland...hopefully, he doesn't know that the game is being aired by ESPN and that Portland gets hot early.

We probably do not have the goods to win it all this season. Not just based on last night’s game. The Clips were embarrassed for our players’ sake, Ballmer was cheering. What a nightmare. We need defense. AD should lead, not be weak. And Frank, we need an actual offense for when LBJ and Dennis aren’t playing. That top of the key curl thing is getting old and predictable and it looks like a warmup drill. Bring in Cacok, Kostas etc to at least bring some fire if we’re going to play like this.
