We got to win this game and the last two.
And then hope Portland loses two of their remaining three. Which is possible as they face Jazz, Suns, and Denver.

Lakers are shooting for the 7th seed. LeBron is sitting this one out.

I’m usually against any and all tactical tanking bs because it’s wrong, and also because it’s bad karma. Given the injury situation for LBJ, we really do not want to face the Clippers in round 1. It’ll be more fun to face them when he’s at least warmed up. For that reason, I’m fine with him resting tonight. I’m even fine with some more key players resting.

Falling into 7th is not a guaranteed 7th. You face a hot shooting Curry in one game and we go on a shooting drought in the first half, and we'll end up chasing the score to the end being 15 points behind all the way.

Nobody's worried about curry and Wiggins.

Ya. All the fear surrounding a play-in game vs Curry is entertaining but slightly overblown. Yes he could go off and the Lakers could go completely cold... but what are the odds of that happening? He's gotta score 40-50 to just keep his team in the game. A healthy Laker's team can just feast inside all game. If the Clippers are a lock for 3rd, Lakers should do everything to get that 7th seed. They need a few games to get ready for the Clips.

I think LeBron would have played today if Portland had lost last night...

We're looking shaky, but I think this is a good matchup for us...

This is a good study in scouting. Coach thibs is an excellent tactician. So he's found a way to disrupt by Hounding Caruso. Heavy pressure. And it seems to be working. Caruso is a turnover machine right now.
Expect other teams to do the same

I didn't like that hip check that Randle did to Davis. That's a dangerous play...

Serious question... Can Harrell eat corn on the cob?

Aside from that last 3 Kuzma has looked like crap yet again... It feels like we're forcing him into the lineup even though we know he's not going to do anything.

THT is doing a decent job on Rose... Caruso and KCP were doing a good job on the starters... But their perimeter is still killing us...

Another reason why Schroder is a dumbass for entering health and safety protocol for a second time. His team needs him, and yet he is not there. Let his team down once again...

Our Defense suffers with Mathews, Drummond and Kuz on the floor together... And we're not getting a dominant performance from AD right now either... Randle is being really physical with him and it's throwing AD off...

THT was really solid for us in big minutes so far... I think we can manhandle a lineup with Randle and Taj gibson in the paint...

Just a really ugly stretch of basketball for us to close the 3rd... Have no idea what Frank was thinking with the lineup either...

At one point they gave Marc tha ball at the 3pt line and the rest of the team was bunched up in the rt corner and he threw up his arms like WTF guys? Pretty much exemplified our offense in the 3rd.

We're basically beating ourselves tonight... The Knicks are putting the pressure on, but we're making the mistakes.
