I have a lot of thoughts about it but the one that i want to mention here is that this team always responds w bad play that game when one of the main guys go down in an injury in that game. The next game they teamwise and mentally regroup and can fight or actually still dominate their opponent
I don't think this is over at all. We may not need AD

I also have faith in this team, but we’ll have to rise above ourselves to achieve it. The rational thing to say is that we’re playing against a healthy 2 seed in the West (I don’t buy all the CP3 injury bs, dude looked absolutely fine) while missing our 1b superstar and potentially third most impactful player.

But I still believe. I want our guys to play hard, fight for every possession, never give up on defense and just go for the jugular from the very start. Earn that jersey.

If AD ain't playing I hope to see a vintage Marc Gasol. That's the only way to win.

He had shots like these and he was turning them down. I don't care if you're a laker fan or not, no basketball fan wants to see someone who's afraid to shoot the ball. He needs to step up if he wants his money.

Yeah there's no chance without AD. Gasol looked terrible tonight on both ends - his road is coming to an end. Drummond looked like an awkward, forced fit. Schroeder was horrifically bad on both ends. Even Caruso, who has the highest defensive IQ on the team, looked lost when guarding Booker or Payne.

This team is done, and I'm not even upset. Kind of want the nightmare season to end already, this team (specifically LeBron) needs a break.

Let's win this Thursday. Shoot lights out.

We haven't been able to shoot all season, why would we start hitting now? This team relies on a bunch of players who are iffy shooters like KCP, Schroder, Matthews, Kuz and Caruso, it is not surprising Phoenix saw that and basically said "f-ck it, make them shoot". LBJ doesn't have it in him right now to carry this team any more. Even AD who is going to be nowhere near 100% if he plays isn't going to save this team. We should've tried harder in Game 1, but the smart asses on this team wanted to take a game off so here we are.

Schroder is awful. I'm a Bulls fan and unfortunately he has been a name thrown around as a possible FA signing. I can seriously say that if we throw a big contract at this guy I'm done with being a fan. I would rather overpay Lonzo, and I'm not a big believer in him either.

Yeah, not much better options. If we Lakers fans are crying about AD's tendency to get hurt or injured, I'm sure Pelicans fans are also irate about Ball's various physical issues. Hey, How about Rose returns to Chicago and retire there. on the second thought, Rose might be a good option here too.

For Marc and Lebron to be great in creating offense, their teammates need to read and react, cut hard to open spots. I don't care if it's some form of horn action or UCLA cuts

I believe tonite LeBron will be aggressive to the hole. I believe Kuz/KCP(is he playin??)/Schroder/Wes/Caruso will hit their 3s.
