Caruso Leaves! Signs with Bulls
Respect AC going get his bag but to me he’s not a 37M type player. He wasn’t KCP in the bubble good. Hell side by side he wasn’t Kuzma bubble good. And Cam Payne kicked his ass like his name was Troy Hudson
I think the Bulls can definitely mold him into a Hinrich type and he already knows how to play with Lonzo who hasn’t played D in two years. They can even start and make Lavine the super scoring wing

Lakers were looking so good, then they let AC go for less than 10m per.. So bad

He’s not that good. He’s Lue walking, not Fisher walking.

Best on/off on the team the last two seasons.
His impact metrics are off the charts, one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.. He's a huge huge loss. He wasn't just a meme.

I haven't been this bummed about someone leaving the Lakers since we gave away Lamar.

I didn’t say he was a meme. He’s also not a starter. He’s a plus 36 dream like Jordan Hill until you need him to play 36 full time. I just happen to think he’s going to go the way Lue did or the way Delly did. I don’t see him being the guy who is good enough to start on other teams, be a playoff player who you go damn we shouldn’t have lost like Fisher

It’s awful letting him go for that. It’s the organization being cheap, which makes the Westbrook trade massively irresponsible.

You also don’t spend to spend. Caruso isn’t better than TJ as a player. Did you forget the stretch where Lebron and AD were out and Vogel had to use Kuzma to advance the ball and play make because Caruso was a ghost for a month?

Queue in the Caruso-stans. Thank you for the years sir. Wishing you the best of luck in Chicago. We can replace him

AC looking at his chemistry with Lonzo. Tbh it's looking like a potent 4 guard rotation in Chi Town

Re: Caruso Leaves! Signs with Bulls
Rob has made some very questionable moves this offseason. I'm starting to think his strengths are solely on the side of cap management. AC will be missed. He's always struck me as a player that greatly contributes to winning. I'm beginning to think that Westbrook trade will turn out to be a disaster. We'll probably end up being one of the oldest teams in the league.

Re: Caruso Leaves! Signs with Bulls
I'm bummed, but not as bummed as I would be if we lost THT. If Caruso shines with the Bulls, we can finally say "homegrown" Laker right there.

Not a lot of minutes there
White's injured and might be gone once healthy anyway so at least to start the year there's plenty.

Not sure why you're blaming Rob. This is all on Lebron for wanting Westbrook. This = any good + any bad, both, that comes out of trading for Westbrook. We'll know the balance of good + bad at the end of the season.
1) What do you expect Rob to do different here? With Lebron and Westbrook on the court, the team needs 3 PT shooters more than Caruso. So the FO is focused on getting more 3 PT shooters.
2) What do you expect Caruso to do different? Stay and play much reduced minutes behind Westbrook, THT and the 3 PT shooters for less money than what Chicago offered him?'
