Dennis Schroeder: potential destinations/interested teams
Which teams are left that can show any possible interest in Dennis Schroeder????
Actually like a lot of our signings but I'm still very upset that we went the route for Westbrook instead of Buddy heild

Re: Dennis Schroeder: potential destinations/interested teams
The market seems to have dried up for Schroeder at this point, so it's tough to say where he ends up and who might be interested.
I think Lakes should try really hard to move him even if they end up taking on a bit of bad money.
I've suggested moving him to Washington for Davis Bertans, which would make some sense for all parties as he'd fit well as the third guard behind Beal and Dinwiddie. With Kuz, KCP and Rui i think the Wizards can live with losing Bertans who also is a bit overpaid. For the Lakers we'd get one of the very best shooters in the league.

Maybe Tucker is the one who is signed and traded for Hield and Schroder returns as the backup PG next to Ellington.
Westbrook - Schroder
Hield - Ellington
Davis - Gasol - Howard
Morris - Anthony - Ariza
James - Bazemore

Re: Dennis Schroeder: potential destinations/interested teams
Probably play over seas don't think many teams left that will pay a tone of $$$ for him?
I hope we let him walk for nothing OR at very least get a high pick in 2nd round maybe?
don't want him on this team he is all about the $$$
we don't need that on this team even as a bench player

At this point, i might take him back just to have some semblance of youth on the team. Everyone is 32 and older outside of AD and THT.

Dallas.
They've been real quiet, I think they're waiting for Kawhi to oficially say no and then they'll pounce on Schroder.
More than half their team is consisted of foreign players, Cuban has a hard on for non americans.
Only team left that makes sense.

Re: Dennis Schroeder: potential destinations/interested teams
The problem is not what he brings on the court, as he could still really help a lot of teams. He’d still be the 4th best player here for example if he re-signed. The problem is he’d need to come off the bench now, and IDK if he’s mentally ready to accept that.

Re: Dennis Schroeder: potential destinations/interested teams
I say we should sign and trade him in a package with Gasol. Gasol could aid Hield’s off ball spacing development greatly. Len and Thompson can’t. Dudley is a great vet to stabilize a locker room.
We don’t need Hield nor his price tag nor his no defense. They need stabilizing veterans. We need legs.
Harkless and Len for Gasol and Schröder (S&T) and Dudley. I don’t know if it works by the CBA but it shouldn’t be impossible. I’d rather get a young Center given AD’s glass body and Howard’s age.
I’d also try to retain Kostas. With Westbrook, LBJ, AD on the court, Kostas will get plenty of easy putbacks and lobs.

I don't want Bertans, he is just a streaky shooter who doesn't do anything else, and his contract sucks. I would just take some draft picks back if we can't get a decent player back. Worst case is we just let him walk. Last thing you wanna do is to let him make money and get some bad contracts back.

Re: Dennis Schroeder: potential destinations/interested teams
Absolutely nothing so far with him.
It all came down to the Knicks. If the Knicks didn't want him, he was going to have to accept a MLE offer. It might not even be that anymore.
Coulda had $84M. Wow.

He came off the bench in OKC behind CP3, no idea why he wouldn't for another season. Then again he also turned down 84 million so it appears he values himself more than he's worth.

This dude played himself. He should fire whoever is representing him.

A lot of agents are at the mercy of their players. Then again, if that was the case his agent would have been better off dumping him so who knows....

Would rather sign an undrafted rookie just to have semblace of youth on the team.

The problem with Dennis is his attitude and I don't like how he played during the playoffs.
There is no problem being tough and cocky if you could walk the talk. So far Dennis is all talk.

Oh well, we gave it to him. He shouldve learned, we are the Dynasty Powerhouse in this League. This is Laker Nation. Yet he thought he was even better than what the Nation had to offer. Just a sad lesson learned for him
