At least some of these dudes like LeBron, Westbrook and Howard were freak athletes in their prime, so even with a drop off, the athleticism and speed won't be bad.

Man I hate wasting a roster spot on two old school Cs. Those guys tend to be next to useless in the playoffs, as we’ve seen for 2 years running. Just get one of those guys to be an “innings eater” during the regular season.
Anyways, team still has the TPMLE to use, although I can’t imagine who they intend to use it on. I’d also imagine they’ll sign THT sometime soon. And then they still have a potential Schroeder sign and trade in their back pocket.

THT stays with us, 3 years, $32 million, according to Woj

Not a bad roster imo.
If we could get a stretch big that's not ancient we should be good. Im assuming the Buddy deal is dead for sure now.

Ariza is strictly a 4 at this point and I think Monk starts for his foot speed alone. If there is a Schröder S&T, I'd prefer a starting caliber wing. We have two centers and one of them likely draws DNP-CDs as the plan is to go small anyways.
A player like TJ Warren would be perfect.

I would've prefered Morris over Ariza. Just think Morris is a much better shooter, that's all.
I hope they resign him and start him in place of Ariza.

Solid roster.
I'd let Dennis walk if Turner or Hield aren't going to happen

Davis will be the starting center. Playtime is over.
With Westbrook, Davis and Gasol are at the top of the center position pecking order.
Howard will be out of the rotation most nights. Westbrook will need to play alongside a big who can hit open jumpers.

The Monk and Nunn signings saved this FA. I’d give it a solid B. Schroeder completely screwed himself.

Morris is definitely not a better shooter than Ariza. Ariza also plays more defense than Morris ever did. Glad we didn't bring Morris back.

I agree, which is also why I kind of wanted a guy like Green, or Millsap, both of whom are really good as small ball Cs and have shown a willingness to play the position. Green is obviously off the board though and the team has shown no interest in Millsap as far as I’ve heard.

Ariza will be a great upgrade for our P&R defense. He can guard bigs and smalls

We'll see. I hope I'm wrong.
