Hope they stagger Rondo and Russ. Westbrook looks lost out there playing extended off-ball with Bron then Rondo. It's just the first game though so let's see.

Props to Avery. I don't think that was a revenge game.

Hope they can utilize a rotation like:

Starters: Westbrook, Bazemore, James, Davis, Jordan

Shuffle to: Rondo, Bradley, James, Melo, Davis

Then: Westbrook, Bradley, Bazemore, Melo, Howard

Keep Rondo and Westbrook away from each other. Monk, Nunn, Ariza can be interchangeable with any of the wings

But it’s Uber annoying when you know that Frank had sense to let Lebron and Rondo run the team this game compared to the preseason turnover fest, and he still turned it over as the secondary handler next to them.

This one’s on Lebron. The Hield deal was practically done till he stepped in and overrode it.

In any event, we’re in this thing now and if Vogel is going to make this work he’s got to put Russ in positions to be successful. Russ and Rondo shouldn’t be sharing the floor, and he shouldn’t be on the floor with a traditional big with Lebron and AD out there.

The crap shooting is what it is unfortunately. That’s been Russ for nearly half a decade, and there’s a lot more of it to come.

Also, DeAndre Jordan should not play more than 4-5 minutes per quarter. He has nothing left in the tank, can barely jump and can't protect the paint anymore...

Russ looked lost out there. Really painful to watch.

I hope they figure this out soon. Otherwise teams will quickly look at the lakers as a joke and you’ve lost half the game, right there and then..
