Yeah, I'd rather keep Westbrook than trade what's out there IMO.

I'd do Westbrook for Lillard straight up... Much better fit. Assuming his current slump is just performance art.

Still work progress but when he’s on his own he’s pretty good. Great with 2nd unit

I'm fine with Westbrook. Have some patience. He'll be great for us moving forward.

Westbrook has been about what I expected. He’s had some early season struggles, which hasn’t surprised me, but his efficiency is creeping up, and I imagine that will continue.

His defense sucks more than I’d hoped but he’s still been mostly fine.

Frank. It’s time to sit Westbrook down. Clockwork orange style film session with nothing but great team defense.

Study Tayshawn Prince. Great help and team defender with similar reach to Russ’.

The two are nowhere near similar in measurements. Prince is 6’9” with a 7’2” wingspan. Russ is 6’3” with a 6’8” wingspan.

Wow, so you think Pelinka has that Jedi Mind trick like Masai Ujiri, how he hypnotized the Spurs to give up Kawhi and Green for Poeltl and DeRozan.

Am I the only one who would do Westbrook and anyone not named THT, LeBron, Reaves, and AD, for Simmons, right now? Just on the prayer that Simmons just needs a change of scenery?

You guys sound like us Bullets fans back in January-February 2021.

Look on the brightside, he isn't playing on a torn quad to start the season. He's healthy and giving you the complete Westbrook experience. A roller coaster ride it is.

Westbook's best possibility with us is bridging an injury to Bron. The two of them together against a "real" team isn't going to work. Injury to Bron is a high likelihood and it's just a matter of time for Davis unfortunately.

Melo has been playing great dummy group him in with Westbrook that's a hating comment, without Melo Lakers might have 0 wins truth be told

He’s here for a year. If it doesn’t work out this season he becomes a huge expiring. ^

I still want FVV as our point guard.

Sorry...but how are you getting FVV?

I’d do Westbrook for Simmons in a heartbeat. No brainer there.

Not comparing bodies, not blind, lol. He should model his defense after someone like him. With his quick ups Russ’ reach would allow him to play a similar help defense role. See rebounding for his reach. It’s the defensive brains that’s the difference.

I’m certain that if Westbrook studied Prince’s positional defense, or anyone else’s who is a notable multipositional defender (Kirilenko), and if he actually tried to be great on defense, we could tear up the league when THT and Ariza come back.

His defense is as sucky as I expected. I hope for a change but we’ll see how far Frank’s mind bending goes.

Melo is still the same punk that waited until the refs and teammates were holding a guy to punch him in the face then run behind his bench. Remember when he grabbed Sasha by the neck for no reason? He's a stat guy, like Westbrook, that's never been mentally strong enough to actually lead a team. He'll get some points here and there but when it's hard he'll fold.

Call it hate or whatever. There's 15 years of history there to back it up.

Melo is shooting 53% from 3 and is playing the best in his role compared to every other player except for maybe Lebron
