I guess there are other things to do in Los Angeles than watch the Lakers on New Year's Eve. I am on the East Coast...not much happening here.

It's all LeBron. Westbrick only shot 4 times.

Lakers might be up by 20, but if they play like this in the playoffs, they ain't winning squat, that's if they make the playoffs

LeBron with 36 and there are still 15 minutes left. Also 13 rebounds.

Maybe if Portland had an available center on their team, James would not have so many layups and dunks.

Bron flexes over the Houston game, who took them down the wire
Bron flexes over beating a struggling Portland team

I can't wait to see what he does against a good team LOL

I just took a look at the nex 5-10 games

Most should be winnable ... The next and only next HARD GAME will be Utah Jazz on Jan 17th ...
The ones b4 then should be all winnable

LA has five players in double figures through three quarters. Pretty darn good in my book.

As long as Westbrick takes less than or equal too 10 shots I'm fine with that.

Stanley Johnson and Malik Monk have both been nice additions to the starting unit. When AD comes back both should remain and Bradley should go to the bench. Hopefully Nunn will be back soon as well.

Don't mind THT starting with Stanley Johnson breathing down his neck on the bench. Want to see what some fear does to his game.

Monk was pissing oh him, not just breathing down his neck and he still sucked with unearned starts

They play quite a different role, THT has been an SF this season.

They do not. Franks finishers were Bron, Russ, AD, Melo, Monk … every scenario is meant for THT to fill the role he took and earned. Monk can shoot, Tucker can’t. Monk can play in Franks defensive schemes and Tucker can’t which is why Monk and Reeves got the spot over him late.

Lebron is having his best season as a Laker statistically, and the key has been him being able to play off ball more. He’s been assisted on a higher percentage of his shots than he ever has as a Laker. As frustrating as Russ can be at times, that’s a credit to him, and it’s also a credit to Lebron, because he’s getting what he wanted and delivering. When AD comes back, I think this team will go on quite a run and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Lebron garner MVP buzz.

Damn Portland is terrible ! I guess I was right when I said they would miss the playoffs before the season. Nice win by the Lakers.
Lebron is putting up surreal numbers the last few games.
