Anthony, Ellington, and Horton-Tucker are out. LeBron James is questionable. Not too many bodies available to throw into the battle against the brave North.

Coach Vogel is going big tonight: Howard, Gabriel, James, Monk, Westbrook. He made the comment that "This is a pack-it-in-the-paint team."

LeBron hit some ridiculous shots in the fourth, with a little luck. Good team defense on the last play, and Russell came through after hitting the side of the backboard on his previous shot. Bradley is playing Barnes as close as he possibly can.

Avery Bradley saves the day. Nice game by Gabriel, 7-8 for 17 points, and a block on the last Toronto attempt. It was amazing to see the Lakers when they had Gabriel, Reaves, and Johnson scrapping on defense tonight.

No mention about the guy who stole the ball, ran fast and hit a 3 with seconds left to force OT? Triple double, 22 pts , 4 of 7 from3, lead starters with +7...

This thread really should be about Westbrook at this point... he played solid to lock down team D, and he hit critical 3s without hesitation... Probably the best game from him all season... Credit where due...

I did say that "Russell came through..." I concur that he had an excellent game overall.

Feel free to contribute to the game thread while the Lakers are playing. I do not much like talking to myself.

I wish I can, but I just get too depressed watching them get butchered by other teams so I wait until I find out if they won, and then I watched the games I taped.

I certainly sympathize. I have never followed a team so dysfunctional on the court as this one. Not to mention all the off-court drama. Who ever heard of offering your championship-winning coach a one-year extension? It's like Dillon, Texas in Friday Night Lights.
