I'd do that, if that's possible.

I like AD but this is a good trade. I just don't know if Jazz will agree.

Westbrook+Davis for Gobert+Conley+Gay is possible and it saves the Lakers $17m which means they can use 10m MLE and 4m BAE in free agency...

That's actually very cool.

Conley, 4m BAE, 10m MLE, LeBron, Gobert -- Nunn, Reaves, THT, Gay, Howard -- Vet min, McClung, SJ, Gabriel, Vet min

No thank you from POR
1-Lillard is the face of the franchise and any trade would need to be a huge win for POR.
2-Westbrook
3-No LAL-POR trades in 40 years, no need to break the glorious tradition

Don't want to get in the way of tradition.

Westbrook, Simons, Hart, Davis, Nurkic -- #6, 10m MLE, 4m BAE, Keon
That would be the team you'd have then Westbrook expires and you bring in a better fitting starting PG/SG

I think our fanbase still underrates the level of influence/control Lebron/AD/Klutch have over this franchise. I've always vocally said that Lebron isn't getting traded unless he really wants too, and while AD doesn't quite have that level of security, I think he controls his destination more than some of us are willing to admit.

I know I know, Lebron is old and expiring, and AD is under contract so on paper the Lakers could do what they want and ignore any influence they may have, but in real life, I don't see AD not signing off on any trade involving him.

Soooooo...unless Mitchell and AD have this close bond or desire to play together, I find any trade sending AD to Utah very very unlikely. I'm not saying the Lakers should avoid trading AD for the right deal even if it pisses off Lebron/AD/Klutch. I'm also not saying I agree with the decision making that led to this point. I'm just saying it's very, very unlikely.

I'd take back a half eaten bag of Dorito's over any trade that yielded CP3.

The rest of these are all pie in the sky. We will not trade Westbrook for a net positive when the league know's we're desperate to do so.

What r chances Lakers hire KA and trade for Dlo back? Dlo played his best ball under KA. He always put Dlo on a leash when Dlo messes up. I think that's what pushed him to be better and become an all star. Dlo and AD would be good foundation for KA's 3 pt shooting system.

You enjoy the tradition of losing the past 45 years or so? Not saying they’ll automatically win with these incoming players but at least they get a chance to be decent. They won’t win with these current players anyway.

I admire the commitment. Not that these offers should blow you away anyway

The worst defending guard in the NBA (and the second worst is miles ahead of him), a guy who gets disinterested, lost and flat out lazy on offense if he doen't have the ball and a volume shooter who's shooting %s are getting lower as he ages.... not higher.

He's one of the most overpaid players in the NBA and will never be a key player on a really good team.

Add to all of that his knees which aren't good ether.

With max slots we need players that bring more than MLE talent.
