Who should replace Sheed Wallace?

Sheed is not coming. It’s been widely speculated that he was supposed to hold difficult players accountable, get into their faces especially Russ, help toughen up AD etc. So who should take that role? Darvin Ham is no midget too, he’s like 6’7 280 lbs so I’m not sure he needs another muscle/bouncer but …
1. AC Green, ex Laker, iron man who barely missed games, relentless, workhorse, but is he relatable?
2. Is Steve Clifford still available? The guy who cleaned up Vogel’s mess in Orlando.
3. James Worthy. Not sure if he’s willing.
4. Byron Scott?
My preference is Shane Battier. The guy is very smart, ex player, relatable.
Who’s your pick?

I was looking forward to Rasheed on our team. What happened ? I did not read anything regards to him not coming. I like Shane Battier. I was wondering if maybe Rondo can come as a coach soon.

I'm old enough to remember that saying he is here to make people accountable is laughable on the surface and scary below that. I wouldn't be surprised that he didn't pass the background test.... or "other" tests....

Battier is a very bright basketball mind.

I mean put Sheed there has to be like throw gasoline in a house on fire.
Anyways is another move that shows how lost this franchise is right now.

Why?
Fisher lost more than 70% of the games with the Knicks, albeit, it was a difficult job.
Started good with the Sparks then struggled the last 2 seasons where he got fired after 12 games.

Didn't Sheed actually have to be here in order to be 'replaced'.
At first, there was a report that he had formally agreed to join Ham’s staff, but that report was retracted to reflect the fact that he was merely identified as a possible member of Ham’s staff. On Monday, it became known that Wallace will not be joining the Lakers.
It's a case of never was.

Too late, Their bench is full... of assistants with no head coaching experience.
Chis Jent, Ott, joins Handy, with a 27 year old Rimmer to assist Ham, also no head coaching experience.
A great coach like Kerr didn't just had Mike Brown, they managed to retain ex head coach Atkinson, I guess having that head coaching experience is vital to their success.
Sixers Doc Rivers who is a grizzled veteran have Dave Joerger as assistant.
Lue has Brian Shaw

Have either the Lakers or Wallace given an explanation on why Wallace was not hired to be an assistant coach?
