What a game from Russ tonight! Big plays on both ends. I've been saying he has to come off the bench since the day we acquired him. Great win! Let's hope this is the game that turns things around.

Coach Ham took timely timeouts, made solid substitutions. Seems to have a good feel for the game. I love how defense seems to be the first priority.

The offense sucks, is completely reliant upon individual bravado and simple pick n roll.

Lonnie Walker-Klutch surprised on both ends, but I liked his defensive effort a lot. Reaves is this team’s Caruso and Ryan is the Medvedenko. Beverly needs to fix his shot in a big way, it’s currently two motions not one.

It helped that the Nuggets had injuries but I’ll take it. This game is good evidence for why Russ and LBJ better play in different units.

Agreed. And if he truly does, he’ll focus his efforts on defense so that he can earn the extension of this opportunity. In other words, if I were him I’d play my %^*#+^ arse off on defense to avoid being relegated to the bench.

I hope we keep this formula of playing westbrook off the bench really milk it and see how it goes. If this strategy gives us a winning percentage the next 10 games, I say we keep westbrook and go to war.
