Lebron who takes 7.3 3pt attempts is only making 1.5 at 20.7% for 36.4 mins/game. issuing 7.5 assists but almost 4 turnovers/game.
Davis is only taking 4.6 FTs per game, it's like 1 per quarter, averaged 8.5 his first year here. FT rate at a measly .254 his LOWEST in his 10 year career, his 2nd lowest was his rookie year at .333.
Klutch boys, Lonnie, TBJ AND JTA are all shooting under 32% with JTA just shooting 12.5%. at 11 3pt attempts for just 3 makes/game
EVen worse are Bev and Nunn who were supposedly accurate shooters hitting just under 27%.
Reaves and Ryan are hitting above 42% but are barely taking enough 3's just making a combined 2.8 makes/game.

Interesting stats for sure. I. Regards to the Russ point. The biggest thing about Russ and his play is that while he is playing well he isn't playing up to his contract. He doing what I was hoping Nunn would be doing. Russ on a max contract is still a waste of money

We’re playing one on five type offense, so I’m not surprised at the inefficiency. More assists will bring good things. Better defense is needed to win games.

Westbrook isn't THE problem but he's part of it. The problem is truly in the FO. We've taken the path the early 2000's NY Knicks took... trading picks for falling stars in hopes that collecting enough of them will somehow create a team.

Our issues are centered in the flaws of the 3 MAX players. Davis isn't a leader mentally and is fragile.... Bron is on the downward slope and his mind seems to be on his next career.... Westbrook has always been a bone head and has failed with much better teams.

Instead of recognizing that and moving to rebuild now we re-signed Bron and are looking to sign a max contract next summer. We don't have a roster that's one star away...

Westbrook has played as good as anyone in our last several losses. While an issue he's just part of the real issue.

The most interesting stat for Russ is how royally his defense sucks. He’s clueless, and until that changes his offensive stats are of absolutely no interest, at least not to me.

You can’t get paid what he’s getting paid and only play half of the game. Signing him is up there with Mozgov and Deng…

Trade him by the deadline to a team that’s blowing up and wants a huge expiring. We need a defensive beast PG like Van Vleet or a defensive C.

I don't disagree but that formula of 3 max has worked before in Miami with 4 finals and 2 rings but you also need the smart/right/healthy Max players for it to work. Bron was younger, Bosh was healthier than Davis and Wade was much wiser than the 3 max players the Lakers currently have.
They resigned Lebron but Jeanie is also about selling tickets, a very close 2nd behind winning.

Bingo. It is not that a big 3 couldn't work, it is our version of the big 3 doesn't work. At the end of the day, we are trying to fit three square pegs into round holes and gets angry when the pegs won't go in correctly.

We resigned LeBron out of necessity. Make no mistake about it, Jeanie's main focus is not on making the Lakers the best basketball team. She needs the money engine to keep rolling. LeBron is box office no matter how old he is. Having LeBron ensures Lakers are always relevant and have solid TV ratings. That is why the whole "trade LeBron" thing will never come to fruition. Even Jeanie and Pelinka aren't dumb enough to think a team built around some draft picks is going to get them the revenue they are getting right now. It is sad but that's just where we are at as an organization
