2. Is not happening ... Randle worth too much
Edit: 3 Is not happening either - Nets not tanking like everyone suspected - unless things change, trade not happening - they have no need for what you're offering unless they decide to tank - they're currently 4th in east I doubt they will trade for Bev/nunn etc

Agree.
I would do something along the lines of:
Beverley + JTA + Damian Jones + 1 FRP for Jacob Poeltl and Josh Richardson.
Nunn + FRP for PJ Washington.
PG Schroeder / Westbrook
SG Reaves / Lonnie
SF Lebron / Richardson / Brown Jr.
PF Davis / PJ Washington / Gabriel
C Poeltl / Bryant

Re: Trade ideas using Beverly, Nunn, and smaller contracts
We only have one defensive minded leader vet guard. Beverley. Do we really want to trade Bev away for offense? I don’t think I do.
Why not make deals around Schroeder and Nunn and the rest listed instead, but leave Bev out because he made us lose fewer games where we give up 150 points — as soon as he got healthy.
AD is our low block defensive anchor. We need a guard vet to anchor the frontline.

The team needs shooting. LeBron's teams always do.
Nunn, Beverly, 2027 1st to Detroit for B. Bogdonavic

Yup. My top targets would be:
1) Beverley, Nunn, x2 2nd round picks for Buddy Hield
2) Beverley, Nunn, x1 1st round pick (unprotected) for Myles Turner
3) Beverley, Nunn, x1 1st round pick (Top 5 protected) for Bogdanovic
4) Beverley, Nunn, x1 1st round pick (Top 5 protected) for Kyle Kuzma

Turner is my number one target for that crew.... check this out:
Beverly, Nunn, Juan, brown, jones, + 1st (unprotected)... for Myles Turner and TJ
my second choice is Terry and PJ for the same package

Beverley shot a career 38% from 3, Nunn had 36% 2 seasons in Miami, shot 38% the prior year he got injured. What are the chances they both struggle this season while having poor shooters like JTA, TBJ, AD, Russ as teammates? BTW Lebron is shooting under 32% himself. I like Hield but I’m not sure Ham likes his defense. This team got rid of 5 players who shot above 38% from last year because they can’t play defense. Most like Josh Richardson but I saw this guy really struggle in both Dallas and Philly, I really think players looked great in Miami but later regress once they leave their great trainers there.

Players NEVER live up to their 3pt percentage when they become Lakers. Fans know this.

Re: Trade ideas using Beverly, Nunn, and smaller contracts
Man, Bogdanovic is a player this team absolutely needs. I knew he was really good and he's someone I wanted in a Russ + picks trade from Utah. But I never knew his movement shooting was good. Tonight he obviously had a heater going, but the mechanics and everything looked flawless.
I also think if they do a Russ + pick(s) trade - Detroit is a huge candidate.
We give them Russ, Christie, 2027 1st, 2023 2nd rounder and take some long-term salary off their books (Bogdanovic, Bagley, Burks). If I'm giving up one of those picks, I want as many players back as possible to help this team. It doesn't need to be a star but it does need to be multiple players. It's a shame the Lakers front office can't realize that.
Then trade Nunn + 2nd for Cam Reddish.
PG: Reaves/Schroder/Bev
SG: Walker/Burks/
SF: Bogdanovic/Reddish/Brown Jr/JTA
PF: LeBron/Gabriel/
C: Davis/Bagley/Bryant/Jones
Reaves, Walker, Bogdanovic, LeBron, Davis, Burks, Reddish, Schroder is a legit 8 man playoff rotation.
Then in the off-season you have contracts (Bagley, Bogdanovic, Burks), young pieces (Reaves, Reddish) and 2 1st rounders (2023, 2029) to make a deal for a "star."

Not a bad idea, tbh. Burks would help defensively on the wing as well and he can shoot. Not sure about Bagley but as a backup athletic big i guess he's fine.
Probably wont be able to do Reddish for just a 2nd rounder, though.

NEVER? Last season Monk,Bradley and Ellington shot 40%, Melo shor 37.5%, Augustine shot 42% even Dambouya and Howard shot great albeit they barely attempted enough. The main reason their overall % was down was AD, THT and Russ were so bad and they were not exactly being judicious taking them.

I am so confused on why many fans here like to trade for Cam Reddish. What does this guy have to offer the Lakers? They badly need shooting and this guy has a career 33% for 153 games, shooting under 29% this season.

For some reason the Lakers seem to like Cam Reddish. Not really sure why, but i sorta trust their scouting department. Hope it isn't because he's a Klutch-client hitting restricted free agency.
I would prefer them to chase PJ Washington instead.

Re: Trade ideas using Beverly, Nunn, and smaller contracts
Cam Reddish is so young and maybe a semi reclamation project. He still has the potential to be a really good player if properly nurtured. Remember when he was a Duke, Him, Barret and Zion can turn on the perimeter defense anytime to crush their opponents. At least, he can be a solid defender. If lucky, we can get a star. Otherwise, we only lose a Nunn and a SRP maybe.
PJ Washington is a good choice too. Reddish maybe an easier get. PJ provides better effort work ethics and passing at this point.
There are a few still available too. Josh Jackson as reclamation project or Miles Bridges are good choice for the Wings too.

Pretty steep price to give up 2 FRP's for Grant but Lakers would solve that wing problem, 6-8 defensive guy whose been hitting 45% from 3. Then again you are asking Portland to simply tank now and they are currently in 6th with a pretty easy schedule, facing bad teams like the Spurs, OKC, Hornets, Pistons in the next 10 games or so.
