Question for Lakers fans: Which coach is Kobe referring to?

Saw a video of SAS on Howard Stern (has some foul language). SAS tells a Kobe story where Kobe responds to SAS after SAS blasted him on ESPN in a phone call. Kobe tells SAS that the coach sucks and his teammates dropped the ball and didn't cut. Was Kobe referring to Byron Scott?

Probably Mike Brown or D’Antoni. That was when the lakers still had expectations under a coach not named Phil Jackson.

He's talking about Dwight dropping the ball often when receiving a pass when he's under the basket. He would grab and the ball would slip out Dwight's hands, or he would bring the ball to the floor dribble once before going up for a dunk but by that time the defenders already swarmed or had their hands on the ball. It was the most dysfunctional team we had in chemistry for a highly expected to have deep playoffs run team. The coach was Mike Dantoni at that time.

I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated OKC Thunder as the 2025 NBA Champions. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

The good ole times. Mike Antoni, no d. Mike Brwn, no o.

Funny, the coaches who don’t teach and preach defense never win. Same with the ones who only focus on defense. I miss Phil.

In other news, we scored 130 yesterday and lost…

Mr Ham. What kind of coach are you going to be known as? Two-sided or short lived?
