PHX - LAL

Post#1 » by stan francisco » Thu Mar 23, 2023 2:11 am

ESPN. Now.

Ayton and KD out. LeBron out.

I’d start Reaves, Walker, Brown Jr, Vanderbilt, AD. That way it’ll be possible to slow down Booker.

Kobe’s plan would be to work Booker to death on Booker’s defensive end.

Discuss. Go Lakers! :-D

Stupid play to end the 3rd... Gabriel has been doing so well too...

Booker is a front-running douche bag... That is all.

I’m not going to post in Lakers game threads before the game anymore because I think I’m a jinx. Every time the Lakers are staring down the chance to get back to .500 and I run my trap they lose.

So I will just say, good game Lake Show, and quietly hope for another win on Friday.

I zoomed in on D Lo’s defense the entire game to confirm suspicions. He does one and the same thing on every possession, I’m sad to say. The fact that it’s not exploited even more by every opponent is shocking, but Monty Williams who is awake had his guys shoot jumpers over a misplaced D Lo all night.

When the post season starts, D Lo and Beasley both need to give way to Lonnie Walker IV. He gives a flying f about protecting our basket. D Lo has perfected his act of looking like he’s playing defense but he’s really just standing still in that wrong place all night, every night.

Uhh, what? D’Lo’ man defense isn’t great because he isn’t very fast, but he’s a smart and very willing team defender.

Walker is not a guy who you play big minutes in the playoffs. There’s a reason why he’s been racking up DNPs since the Lakers have upgraded the team at the deadline.

Just watch him in detail on defense next game. He does the same thing on every possession.

Good teams take advantage of it. In a series of seven games he’ll be exposed and will have to sit.
