The idea that now is the best time for a rebuild is insane.

Boy they sure did look good against Serbia. Tell me....what's the Lakers record against Joker the last 12-15 games....you know, when it actually matters?
You have your fun boys.....I know it's great watching video-game mode. But when you sense your hand starting to slide down towards your jeans.....take a deep breath, and remember our record against Joker when it matters.

For me it's not the issue of talent but my concern about sustainability. Can they do this for 82 games plus another 20+ games or so?
With regards of their inability to beat a team like Denver well, the Nuggets is a much more balanced and better coached team.
Denver didn't get much better until they acquired Gordon and KCP.
Give Bron and AD teammates who can defend and hit shots like KCP,MPJ AND Gordon just like when they had Caruso, KCP,Kuzma in 2020 and get a competent coach like Vogel or maybe MIchael Malone, then maybe they have a chance against good teams.

Yeah...they know all this. They just got chubbed up watching video-game mode, and are having a bit of fun. Best not to take it too seriously. Our team record of 7th - 11th - 7th - 8th in the West the last 4 years speaks much more to the truth. Reality will come crashing back for these guys come late Oct. I expect alot of "fire JJ" talk once it does.

Thanks in advance

Well.....If you can get that "Guy", or you can get 2 solid (gotta be truly solid) role players who really plug holes in our game, then by all means. I've championed for a rebuild prob more than anyone.....but I've also said this was an acceptable solution too.
But it's gotta be now. Not next year. NOW.
Unless we get something truly spectacular next offseason, then it's too late. Do the math (I say that alot, I admit....but it's true) and be realistic about the "window" we're dealing with folks. If we get a good player next year.....well then the 2025-26 playoffs Lebron will be 42 and AD will be 33. Your asking too much. Unless we got Giannis or something absolutely out of the park, I don't think your getting it done in the playoffs.....in what will essentially be 2 years from now.
If we can't pull the trigger on something that's truly impactful this offseason, then we're wasting our time. Sell what we got while their stock is still high, and move forward.
