Teams won't be able to play Zone Defense against Lakers when Knecht Is on the floor

Knecht! He can get red hot! Good job finding us a total steal at 17. Dude is a real baller.
This changes things. His range if dependable finally opens up the paint for AD and LBJ. AR is a great cutter and weak side attacker. So is Rui. So is Reddish. So can Vando be. Hayes and Wood are. Who isn’t? No more zone defense against us, indeed.
Team defense is getting better by the game. Yesterday it looked good for about 80% of the game. The paint is well protected, the weak side gets swarmed quickly. Even the 3PT defense is starting to look decent.
We’ll be dangerous when we get one of the league’s best wing defenders back on the court — Vanderbilt. Let’s hope he can stay healthy until season’s end.
Nice to have a great coaching staff. I love what they’ve done so far.
Great move to put D Lo with the second unit. Clearly, he was not needed for offense as a starter. Never saw him playing defense this well before, either. Knecht made D Lo benchable. Good coaching to make the changes they’ve made so far.
Lakers — Cavs finals would be cool.

Really super happy for Knecht. The guy can absolutely shoot the lights out. Something we really needed. Still a rookie. I understand he's as likely to go for 8 points next game as go for 30.....rookie life. But we're seeing the goods. The goods are there. All I need to know. Will enjoy watching this guy. I wonder what the ceiling is?

All I know is the guy if you leave him slightly open he will regularly hit his shot consistently in real game time play. He's so established in his fundamentals and so grounded. I don't think we've ever had this since Glen Rice.

Agreed. He is clearly a special player. When he’s on, it looks like he just can’t miss.
If he can become a legit two way player, we just hit the Jackpot. Smart player on both ends.
