Josh Smith?

Post#1 » by gh00k4 » Thu Jan 3, 2008 8:50 am

Hey Lakers fans.

Hawks fan here. After getting killed on the boards tonight against Cleveland our need for a legit center has become painfully apparent. I think you can see where I'm going here.

I know the Lakers have been playing very well this season, so you may not want to disrupt the chemistry, but what do you guys think of a deal centered around Josh Smith for Andrew Bynum?

Atlanta is also in need of a solid PG who can shoot the three. I noticed that Jordan Farmar has been playing very well for you guys this season. Does this make Derek Fisher available in your opinion? I think Atlanta could easily accomodate his daughter's health needs. This may or may not be a deal breaker, I don't know.

Atlanta Depth Chart
Fisher/Law
JJ/Childress
Marvin/Childress
Horford/Shelden
Bynum/Zaza

Los Angeles Depth Chart
Farmar/Crittenton
Kobe/Vujacic
Odom/Walton
Smith/Radmanovic
Brown/Mihm

I think the Smith for Bynum swap speaks for itself.

Lue would give you a veteran PG who is familiar with the Triangle, but more importantly he's a a $3.5 million expiring contract, which would give you more cap flexibility to resign Smith.
