I was surprised with Crit's performance last night. I saw is jumpshots, ball fake layups and his nice passes. phil really should give him more minutes for the next game.

He still does before he thinks. He needs to play smoothly...
He's got talent, the next is experience.

I think he has talent, no doubt about it, but is it me or does it seem like he always has this face like he is going to cry? lol
Like he is scared to be out there playing.
Farmar has been playing pretty solid, his shot is looking pretty good, he is turning the ball over alot on passes that I think should not be thrown, but hey, he is learning still aswell.

I guess the issue I have with Critt is that he doesn't play like a point guard. last year everybody was moaning about our lack of depth at the 1. this year Farmar stepped up, Fisher stepped in, and Smush stepped out and yet people sound like the aquisition of Critt solved our point guard issues.

he definitely needs more playing time to define his role with the Lakers, as of now I can't tell if he is a point guard or a shooting guard.

Farmar on the other hand is without a doubt a point guard.

i love his ability to get into the paint

Critt has the ability to create which is much better than Farmar, but as everyone has stated that we have not seen much of him because of the deep bench. Farmar is becoming more and more consistent imo he still makes mistakes but you can definitely tell that his shot and his aggressiveness is much better than last season. Honestly do not want to lose either one just yet.

It would be stupid to trade him this early. Hopefully he isn't going to get traded. Sasha was injured and Critt needed some experience. As far as Critt not playing like a point guard, he was in the game playing shooting guard. I was definitely happy to see him get some playing time and making the most of it.

I agree with you. he has talent, but he needs to grow more. he still makes bad decisions, but the talent is visible. last night was the equivelent of bynum's 4th quarter against the knicks in his rookie year. a flash of future brilliance, but not necesarily the type of thing that will be happening commonly right now.

I'd like to see Critt work his way into the rotation and showing more discipline. A stint at the D-League may help him or may not but I think it's worth the try. Critt-Jordan-Drew will be the core of our future whether one of the pg's come off the bench. Hopefully these guys stick around for a long time.

They'd rather trade Farmar before they trade Critt, thats how high everyone in the organization is on this guy.

Personally I see him as a Gilbert Arenas type player, he has the body, the scoring mentality, along with decent play making skills.

Kid is still raw, he got handles, penertration and he is quick. vincanity1 sig shows a promising future with these 3. I wouldn't trade(just me) any of these kats.

Critt is a great talent and he will likely become a very special player one day soon. But, just like with Bynum, he must be brought along the right way

He made the most of it, though. Great showing. I love his unpredictable style. His man defense doesn't seem all horrible either.
