What about bringing in pippen to help the younger sf and pgs in order to help our team get better

Unless this is why, I don't have a good answer for you;

Finland is known for having one of the toughest immigration laws in the world, so I guess Pippen now has a Finish monopoly on being a black, rich superstar.

It could also have something to do with his history of not being trusted by Phil, I guess.

He was only playing one game there as a guest appearance. He's making a bid to become the next head coach for the Bulls now. I don't think he's interested in a position as an assistant though he could change his mind if he gets rejected in Chicago.

I have a better reason why he would stay here. Actually two.

1. Larsa Younan

2. Children.

3. The Child Support his ass will have to end up paying if Larsa finds out about those two Finnish broads.

If we want to get another coach, O'd go after Michael Cooper long before I think of Pippen. Coop has experience as a coach and understands how to coach defense.
Although Pippen was a great defensive player, I'm not sure if he'll be able to coach on this level.

Now that I think of it...Cooper deserves another chance. Wasn't he the interim coach for the Nuggets at one point a few years back? I'd do it. We need to get more former Lakers involved with the management/league.

Is the logic for wanting Pippen solely for the reason that he played for Jackson and that this current Lakers team gets mistakenly compared to that Bulls team despite having so many different components?

Kobe did say that Pippen was of good help to him, and Lamar said the same when he was here for a summer, but part of it is because of Pippen's name and status I'm sure.

Cooper would be a good addition as well.

COOPER COOPER!! Did anyone mention him yet? If so , I'm sorry.

Cooper already has experience as a coach and I think he should get another shot. If anything, I'd go after him as one of assistants way before I think of Pip.

Pippen is broke and he needs a job .
Its sad to see that he was one of MJs best friends on and off the court and with all that money MJ has , well use to have , he cant dish out a few mills to his side kick PIPPEN.
