Yeah read about this few min ago. Well all they will be getting is the fine, the decision will not get overturned.

Aren't they going to replay the game from 51 seconds left and possibly reverse the W for Atlanta?

No, how can they? Atlanta was up by 3 when that happend so it was anyone's game. But, I think they might get another fine or something. IMO

The NBA today granted a game protest filed by the Miami Heat after its 117-111 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on December 19 at Philips Arena which will result in the replay of the final 51.9 seconds of the game

i think a better scenario would be to have them play after their next meeting not before, that would make it more fun

didnt the last time this happen was back in the early 80's with the Spurs v. Lakers and the Lakers won the game. When the league upheld the protest they played the last part of the game at a later date and the Spurs ended up winning.

I wonder what they would do if they didn't both play in the east?
For example, what if it was Boston and the Lakers and they weren't gonna play again in the same arena?
Would they do a special trip out to Boston again to play 51 seconds and then just go home?
Sorry but I would not drive from Orange County to Staples just to watch 51 seconds unless there were some serious drink specials going down.

Why they're even complaining is stupid anyway. One more loss gets them better odds in the lottery.

Wouldn't it be funny if Shaq was still hurt when they replay the game?
